Hoping walsall lose their game in hand as well! If we don’t beat Colchester it will be a bad result as they are shite! They have only won 3 at home and have shipped 30 goals!

Not a bad result considering we only had 10 men for the best part on an hour! Gills lose ground and Walsall only got same as us so nothing lost apart from Burton pulling away again! Looked at the stats from Burton game and they looked quite impressive, will be hard to peg them back I reckon!

I told you there would be no new training facility built at Charnock Richard didn’t I! Some of my Nob End mates are outraged because they seemed to think that their team were nailed on for the Euxton Lane facility, they were saying to our Jeff last night that Euxton is within their catchment area and that it isn’t right, the daft bastards!
There were quite a few Bolton fans who thought the story of his illness was bullshit, I bet they feel like right cunts now!
We have a plan for building a successful team which obviously includes recruiting young, hungry, talented players within a sensible wage structure. It is working wonderfully well at the moment and the plan shouldn’t be altered to accommodate Jordi Gomez who struggles to meet any of the above criteria.I was never one of the “boo boys” but neither do I think that he is good enough to replace any of our current players.
I have always been really happy with our progress but had a niggling doubt about Gary Caldwell’s managerial skills. I always thought he was the right man for the job but suspected that it would take another season to grow into the job. I thought we had been “found out” after watching the Burton game and we were too predictable when facing experienced managers.
After Saturday, I am deliriously happy to have been proved wrong. The formation and tactics were top drawer, showing that he is learning at a great rate of knots.

Holt was on the wane and he knew that his better days were behind him, the comfort of a half decent wage left him with fuck all to prove! :)
His glory days are well behind him, couldn’t understand why we bought him but there ya go! Bad business, draw a line underneath it and move on!
