The main objective has to be promotion back to the Championship as soon as is possible, simple as!
Max Power from Tranmere is meant to be on our radar again! Great name !
Pedant alert:
League One, not Division One :)
OCD alert. Please can you amend the title?
You could have edited the title if you had wanted Johnny!
Just off the phone from ticket office. Rows A-G inc will not be available across the whole of the East Stand, I have been offered several pairs of seats 2 rows higher and upwards than our existing ones in the same block and so I am happy with that. She apologised and even gave me the option of coming to the ground and personally being shown the options available in the stand which was a nice touch albeit not necessary for me! I shall contact my mate and we shall decide on which seats to take!
Har har de fuckin har! Still seen more live action than you though over the last 14 seasons eh! You need to knock a few years off your username !
Really? Have you been on your Bob’s mushrooms?
Firstly, how exactly do you “knock years” off a user name of ‘Griff’?
Secondly, I seem to recall you once bragging that you’d only missed 8 or so home games since we moved to the new stadium. So, that puts me those 8 in front of you in the last 14 years, plus all the JJB/DW games in the two years before that (1999-2015 is 16 years, not 14), plus the last few years at Springy (though I confess I can’t reacall if I went to all of those as well as I can the new stadium, I’m sure I misese done or two) plus all our home friendlies since 1999, and that’s before I even get on to away games.
You do know what away games are, don’t you? Mind you, if you can’t manage a full home game, it’s understandable if you can’t manage an away game.
If you get in quickly with your new seat application, I believe there’s a space next to the drummer. Hurry!
Firstly Griff I was replying to that 35yrs clown and secondly I have been to my fair share of away games!
Well I sit there and here is what my letter says….
“As a consequence of our relegation to League One, we have looked at ways in which we can ensure that the matchday atmosphere is improved to assist the team to win promotion back to The Championship. One of the ideas is to reduce the number of blocks of seats available to purchase and utilise these areas in different ways.
Unfortunately your current seat is one of those that will not be available to renew. However, we are pleased to offer you any seat of your choice in the stadium ( subject to availability and excluding our executive areas ) at the price of your existing renewal. There are a number of seats in a similar location to your existing seat or you may choose a seat in a different stand at no extra cost.”I can only assume that with my seat being in ES5 Row F that they are planning to maybe net off the first so many rows along the whole stand and utilise that space with advertising and the like! This would shove everyone back and not have the sporadic appearance that it will more than likely have next season! I am of course just summising, either way I am not too fucking happy about it!
Fancy that, you not happy.
Why don’t you offer him a compromise? Tell him he can have it for the last 12 minutes of each game. You know, the time when you’re not using it? ;)

Wouldn’t it make more sense to get all the facts before we all go launching ourselves at conclusions? The fact is I have a letter telling me that I can’t have the seat that I have sat in for the last 10 seasons! I will ring in the morning and see what alternatives they have but with fans having until June 19th to keep their seats there may not be much point in ringing! :(
Well I don’t think that there will be any seats available directly behind where we did sit and so the seat I have occupied since the move to The East Stand can’t be emulated in my view! I mentioned closing the East Stand and putting us back in the South Stand a while back, let the away fans look sparse and prevent them creating their own atmosphere, I would have probably gone over to The West Stand mind! ( Awaits the “We don’t fuckin want you in our stand” comments! ) At the end of the day there won’t be any central seats as close to the pitch as we were whatever would have happened and so if I can’t get anything very similar then I probably won’t bother! We had a good group of folk around us in The East Stand, where they will opt for fuck knows!

Close to signing a deal with Red Bull New York I believe! They have until tomorrow to sign him! Some of their fans are not happy and have been commenting on his ability to run and dribble with the ball but do nothing else! ha ha At the end of the day he won’t be here at the beginning of next season whatever happens!
He was a decent League One/Championship striker but didn’t cut it in the Prem, simple as!
Correct.
But one up front doesn’t work, full stop – according to Donny.
It can work with the right sort of player and a midfield that is quick to support, we didn’t have either this season gone!
I thought it was a nice gesture that both he and Graeme Jones were going to play in (called off) charity match last Friday in Ashton. For a couple of ‘Judases’ they still hold a lot of respect from people within the club, and it’s good to see that they both still live in the area.
He is a very amiable man Johnny but he ain’t the manager that many thought he was that is my point! Yes he will promise this and that, they all do but his obstinate ways are still very evident and it would appear that a lot of Everton fans have seen beyond the façade and ‘Psychobabble’and they don’t like what they see! A thoroughly decent chap though! ;)
Burnley seem to have a long term plan in place and will more than likely be up there!
If Preston go up, will Crewe or Bury be your big rivals next season?
Blackpool have Fleetwood. Rochdale have Oldham.
Gud result for you lot yesterday mutt and it puts that massive club up the road nearer the trapdoor. Lets hope the fookers fall through it.
Hull look doomed to me!

Rivalry is so passé! It’s so 1970’s!
