I don’t want the ticket – but I don’t think we have a PM facility anymore?
Or can someone put me right on this?
I was looking for that link the other day and couldn’t find it when I put my ticket up for grabs?
Or just lay your bet off on Betfair if we’re 1/50, a tenner at that price will do itI would have to put 5 grand on which indicates that the bookies share my confidence in picking up! The thing is I obviously felt confident that this would end like this when I struck the bet up! It has made accepting going down a Hell of a lot easier I can tell you! Oh, and if we do do the virtually impossible I will be even happier! Win win all the way for this happy punter! ;)
Well I will be treating the fences in the glorious sunshine with not a care in the World! No feeling deflated come 5pm for me today!
The bookies beg to differ! And to think Griff didn’t think that me getting 9-2 was a betting coup! If a professional punter had got 9-2 on let’s say a horse and then it romped in at 1-50 then I reckon he would be feeling pretty pleased with himself, as would anyone come to think of it! :)

There will be quite a few easy trips. Rochdale, Fleetwood, Oldham, Port Vale, Crewe etc.
Wetting my appetite already all those real clubs. You missed out Nob End, they are going to fuck it up, just you see! :)
Both McKay and Caldwell had chances to throw caution to the wind and swap things round particularly up front and neither did.Ultimately no forward threat has cost us all season long and Caldwell fell foul of it himself in his 2 games .I would prefer an experienced manager but I hoped he would have had the nuts to drop the waste up front and go for the juglar but nope same lame team as Friday. All possession and thats all.It just puts the turd on top of the cake in what has been a comedy season.Don’t think Caldwell has endeared himself to some of us, me definately not
The manager here is little more than a figurehead coz we simply refuse to move away from Robby Martinez’s blueprint for the club. No it is not Bob’s fault ,he has moved on but why else is that fucking prick Barrow still at the club and why does it appear that 5 different managers have had basically the same ideas?. Does the manager even have a say in who comes to the club?. Delort and Riera arrive and are not picked by Rosler then McKay and the Liverpool wonderkisd come in only for Malky not to pick them. Whether you rate Fortune or not it simply does not work with him yet he is fireproof. It is only my opinion and yes I’m hurting like hell as everyone is but we will never improve until we can employ a manager who can bring in his own support team and we get fucking shut of Bobby’s sidekicks. Im utterly fed up.
Barrow’s the only Martinez ‘sidekick’ there.
And I’m not entirely sure how much imput he’s had over the past couple of years.
The mere fact that Caldwell has got the team playing on the ground and back to a possession based style would suggest Barrow has had little input in the tactics under Coyle, Rosler, or Mackay.
So enlighten us to what you think Barrow’s role is?
I’ve certainly seen him stood alongside all those managers quoted, pointing and confabbing. If he’s having no input to the team and tactics, then get him sat in the stands and stop paying him whatever salary he’s on.
Whelan’s ‘Eyes And Ears’ it really is that simple! ;)
The excuses for him baffle me, just read his stats! I would say he was worse than that Aghahowa because at least he got into some decent scoring positions and created more chances for himself albeit missing them!
Someone like Beckford would have been a decent acquisition!
But they have played positive football with heart and passion and probably a consistent team.We have been consistent, consistently shite! :)
Its better listening to G.C Than hearing Whelan spouting his mouth off. Were are you Mr Whelan,I cant hear you. :cheer:
This may come as an shock but he aint in charge any more
Yeah we heard he spat dummie out. ;) Because F.A.smack his hand. :cheer:
He did threaten to resign if he was charged and even though he wasn’t charged as such a big fine was enough to tip him over the edge! Delusions of grandeur if you ask me!
How about getting the chance to prove your worth by coming off the bench only to get into a fight and being shown a red card! Well you wanted the lads to show some fight didn’t you!
I do think that in his 2nd season in charge he should have them in a better league position then they are right now! Many Everton fans, deluded or not will see it as a backwards step and why wouldn’t they! ;)
Things don’t always go according to plan. It’s the same here, well, worse really.
Rosler took us to an FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal and a play-off semi-final against QPR.
We hoped for more this season.
If Everton fans see this season as a backwards step, how should we feel?
Everton bolstered their squad whilst we did the complete opposite! ;)
His new chairman, Bill Kenwright, with whom the 39-year-old has signed a four-year contract, revealed that the first words Martinez said to him when he was interviewed to succeed Moyes as Everton manager were: “I will get you into the Champions League.”Like the rest of us, you happily dismissed most of Roberto’s pronouncements as managerial bluster, but you have chosen to take this one literally. Even Bill Kenwright wasn’t foolish enough to do that! But he did find Roberto’s attitude refreshing after ten years of dealing with the unsmiling David Moyes.
But you are right about the illusions of the Everton fans. They see themselves as supporters of one of the great English football teams, and consider that Everton are automatically entitled to a place at the top of the league. They are as misguided – and as disappointed – as the Wigan fans who think Wigan are entitled to a place in the Premier League.
We are, I fear, going to Barnsley.
I do think that in his 2nd season in charge he should have them in a better league position then they are right now! Many Everton fans, deluded or not will see it as a backwards step and why wouldn’t they! ;)
The rules are as stated…………
6.9 PLAYING AN INELIGIBLE PLAYER
Any Club found to have played an ineligible Player in a match shall have any points gained
from that match deducted from its record and have levied upon it a fi ne. The Company
may vary this decision in respect of the points gained only in circumstances where the
ineligibility is due to the failure to obtain an International Transfer Certificate or where the
ineligibility is related to the Player’s status only.
The Board may also order that such match be replayed on such terms as are decided by the
Board which may also levy penalty points against the Club in default.Evidence based … it clearly worked because when he didn’t do it – it all went to worms!!I agree – where is he? Get going again.
He was still harping on about doing it the season that we went down and then he was gone! JCL me thinks!
