… but I can’t really comment as I’m not a coach.
Really? You’re the only one on here who isn’t, then.
Has anyone seen the report on SSN about Prince Charles being a Burnley fan? Where the f*ck did they drag them two knuckle draggers up from who are singing in the pub? Should be used as a public service announcement to prevent interbreeding or smoking when pregnant or summat.
What with Charlie belonging to a family with centuries of inbreeding I think it’s the perfect team for him to support.
:D
I actually thought that Egg was] referring to our no. 1 family
11 December 2009 at 12:48 pm in reply to: I love my club more than this league. Does anyone else? #15054I love watching my little town team going toe to toe with the big names in the Premiership. I’ll never forget the privilige of seeing league goals scored at my team’s ground by the likes of Henry, Rooney and Crespo. Fantastic times, fanbtastic memories.
When/If we find ourselves back in the lower leagues, I will still be there supporting my local team. Long may the premier league story continue, but I wouldn’t want my club jeapordising its long term viability by spending silly money to stay in it.
So, in answer to your question, the club comes first.
Zuela can play RIGHT BACK or centre half! He’ll do for me. ;)But he won’t do for Bob, who has sent him packing.
Their pitch is narrow, they will get tight and not let our lads play the ball around, we won’t be able to cope. It’ll be like the second half of the Brum game all the way through.Their home fans create a great support for their team, and will probably sway the ref.
What’s happend to you Yick, you used to be one of the more positive posters. You seem to have developed a bad case of snide flu like the majority here. ;)
Anyway, if their pitch is narrow (which I’m not sure it is particularly), it should suit our narrow, predictable, always-cutting-in-from-the-weak-footed-side style of play* that we have become accustomed to.
One thing is for sure – i will be wearing my vest and thermal socks because it will be f****** fleaing, as usual.

Mr Egg, the subtelty of uppercase letters will simply fail with the malcontents on here. They will never let simple matters of fact or big letters interfere with their world, as fed to them by the gossip column of the Daily Star
Oops, touched a nerve there, SW.
You should have picked on the local swimmers instead. ;)
Michael Owen ne serait pas venu à Wigan, jamais
Michael Owen wäre nicht gekommen, um Wigan, je
Michael Owen non sarebbe venuto a Wigan, sempre
Michael Owen asingeweza kuja Wigan, mileleAnd, probably, neither will Sol Campbell.
Good night.
Here is another opportunity missed. Going to Utd. on a free.No he’s not
all good players require decent wages to join any club if you pay peanuts you get monke`ys …..not sure if i should refrase that but you know what i mean. That’s why good players go to clubs who have good funding and can afford to pay decent/better/stupid wages without bankrupting themselves.
You’ll find that Stripeycat is no relation to Stripey the Laticat
Is he a tribute act?
He’s certainly a copy cat
I was under the illusion this was a supporters club website not a critiscum (or however you spell it) website – anyone slagging off latics should start writing to “Dear” columns – I think Latics are doing “ok” at the moment – am loving watching their unpredictable brilliance and sometimes “effortless” results – but thats football! – if they stay in the Prem they will deserve to – if not – ile follow them wherever and my kids and their kids will to! If you don’t support them – write your negatives on a site that likes your jealousy that your probably too fat and old to play the game yourself!!!! MEOWWWWWOh well, that’s dragged the debate back up. We’ll have Paxman logged on next
He phoned Whelan to thank him for making an offer. He was letting us down lightly and making himself look like a nice boy. He never said he was coming here! You’re rewriting history. Seriously check it out. It’s my opinion that he isn’t right for the club. Oh hang on, I forgot, it’s only the doom-mongers who are allowed to have an opinion….
Hang on, in the interests of fairness, there were TWO occasions when Whelan was asked about Owen.
One, when he left Real Madrid, when Owen politely told him no, stifling a huge belly laugh.
Two, when he wanted to leave Newcastle and was looking for a club. That’s when Whelan said he wasn’t interested. Owen still ended up laughing.
Who are you talking to?
Im assuming he was talking to the the idiots at the beginning of the post
I’d like to think so too, just checking though. :?
I’ll whisper this – Michael Owen wouldn’t have come to Wigan
missing the point, whelan said he wasnt good enough, do you understand!
i wouldnt come neither after being slated in the press
So, as well as not getting football, you don’t get how the press works either?
