I didnt number number 5 because it is something we can mess about with. Its the big man upstairs who says it lashes it down or not.
John Benson?
Just trying to cheer you all up…Couldn’t concentrate – too busy gawping at that bird’s thong and arris.
Please let it be a bird
Scoffy, agree with points 2 thru 4 and the (for some strange reason) un-numbered 5th point :D
However, were I forced to drink the slop they serve in the DW for 105 minutes rather than just the 15 I am now, I would have to take up crochet* and stay at home.
* a tenner says LaticsMainMon thinks that crochet is that game that posh folk play on manicured lawns with mallets and balls and tiny metal goal-posts
Where is Eric Edman????Injured apparently.
There was a baffling comment from Martinez after the game, as he seems to think he has a big squad available to him. Not sure where he is looking
Who voted for themselves?Me, and I forced my wife, son and cat to regsiter and vote
Griffs getting my vote though! The cheque’s in the post
So losing 4-0 against the bottom club is kind of ok then?“OK”, it is not.
“Kind of OK”, I think, is exactly what LHL was implying, points-wise.
How many of them names are the same person?.Well, I’m Griff and so’s my wife.
Anyway Admin, where’s my prize? :(
I have some suggestions:-
– a free copy of Whelan’s book
– £3,000
– the elimination of 3 board members of my choice. :D :DIt has been in some media lately, but not wholeheartedly backed, but what about the idea of a ‘fit and proper test’ for players. At the end of the day these guys are employees, now if I was recruiting for my business I would do my best to find out if they were convicted of anything first before giving them a £2m+ annual pay.
What do you think??
It’s up to the employer, ie the club that signs somebody. It’s not as if Whelan and the club couldn’t have found about King’s past. After all, everyone else in football and the media knew about it.
Fit and proper tests are fine for OWNERS who would subsequently have no-one to answer to.
funny how latics mainmon as gone today and you turn up again after not been heard from for a while mmmmmmmm bit of a coincidence that one.
the wonderful world of the multiposter.i remember you from rivals and the memory was not a good one!I remember when multi-posters were funny. These are just very very pale imitations.
Isnt Parakeets name there for the best poster?
Also why don’t the Admin and Mods do their jobs and delete posts from people who abuse the swear filter?
This serious matter needs attending as my children browse the boards on occasionsIt is baffling, I agree – Parekeet not being short-listed for best anything, yet you are. :?
You’re not even the best “annoying” poster. That goes to BobbysWigan because he only has one subject, at least you spread your drivel around many topics you know nothing about.
Used to, some years ago.
Had ten years as a player in the Wigan amateur league (including 4 as the fixture’s secretary), then three in the South Lancs.
As for talent, er no, not really.
To win the x-factor… Tonight, one again they go through after a great performance last night.
This mon posts the truth.
Up the teecs.
No idea how to work a forum, though.
Which part of “non-football” doesn’t he get?
I was really enjoying my couple of months sabbatical until numb nuts came along.
And you’re not much better, encouraging him ;)
Whelan said: “I do not want convicts at Wigan. Some club will sign him when he gets out, they’ll take the risk. But they shouldn’t.Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sp … z0VVa3kPKW
Remind me again, which club signed convict King with 13 previous convictions including sexual assault?
I once said Whelan was good at telling lies, well I now withdraw that statement. :roll:You’re right up to a point – clearly Whelan didn’t view his previous jail sentence to be as big an issue as this one, perhaps because of the nature of the offence and its high profile nature. And I think when Whelan is talking about convictions, he really means incarcerations.
But, for sure, the £2.7m in potential dead wages is probably at the forefront of his moral high ground on this one :)
Nice way of doing a quote Griff.
If he’s moaning about somebody moaning then he is STILL MOANING!
Also none of his opinions are interestingJust f*** off somewhere, kid – no-one wants you here.
You’re saying things about people moaning etc etc etc, but I have just read the post you did (all of them) and in every single one of them you seem to be moaning about at least something… but normally the post is just a whinge and moan about everything.
The only thing he has moaned about is people moaning. Other than that, he has offered his opinions and a lot of them quite interesting, too.
