    100% Gomez!!.
It looks like Bobby thinks Sinclair is too much of a luxury or will not fit into his game plan for some reason, otherwise he would have been in from day one.

I think it’s more a case of Martinez wanted to stay with his 1 up and 1 just behind formation. He could keep this shape and put Rodallega up top with Sinclair left, dropping Scotland altogether but I just don’t think he will.

So, if it’s a straight swap for Scharner, the smart money would be on Gomez coming back in or – and here’s a controversial one – Kapo instead. :o

Goal in the Premier league in front of 70k for one of the biggest teams in the world.

Goal away from home in supposedly the toughest competition in the world.

Oh aye, proper spooked, isn’t he?

Bullard played against Latics reserves last night and missed a penalty.

    Latics won 2-1.

Admin: Can we have a ‘repeat post’ button or something so that Mr Egg doesn’t have to waste my time telling me things that have already been reported about 3 posts back? ;)

That said, I wouldn’t be happy if the arrogant, orange-faced twot was in charge of our club either :D

Having read that article and then some of the posts beneath it, I saw this:-

    QUOTE
There are alot of City fans with very short memmories. If we stay in the Premier we will again struggle to compete with the budgets available to most. We will lose more games than we win. If we go down we can compete on a more level playing field and hope to get promoted to the Premier, where we will lose more game than we win and again listen to the moans of “life long” fans tell us how great things were under the most successful manager we have ever had in Phil Brown. Again this does not apply to all of you, but i am sick of hearing people who have apeared in the last couple of seasons telling me that Brown has to go after guiding the club to highest ever position.

    Sound familiar? :)

It seems a strange time to sack him, they should have done it at the end of last season not when boro are 4th!

Strange comment (not accurate quote) from Gibson: “If we’d have lost the game at home to Derby that would have been terrible” – but you didn’t, you won it! :?

    Mr Griff

I don’t think you have quite grasped Mr Yicks reverse dark cynicism – and he’s been around this board, and others, for quite some time.

I must admit it took me a while also…………

Yes, I have known Yick for years. But he is not clever enough to be that subtle. ;)

Plus, he’s from St Helens and therefore fair game

in reply to: great deal #10658
I pay £13.1578 pence roughly for each game. How can it be fair that someone can now get in for £10.00 a game? That makes me £3.1578pence approx down on 3 games which makes £9.4734pence or there abouts in total.

    How can this be fair.

Plus they have failed to take into account again that the £1.00 a friend deal only highlights those of us challenged in the friend department. :|

Aye-aye, here we go again. No-one forced you to buy your season ticket, did they? This is the 4th season on the spin that this kind of offer has come along so if it worries you so much (you tight-arsed get) you should have not bought a ST and simply waited for the offer to come along. But then you’d have moaned about paying full whack to watch Chelsea, wouldn’t you?

I’m with 32years on this – I am more than happy with the price I paid for my ST and if a cheaper deal for casual fans puts more bums and seats for these relatively unattractive games then that’s OK with me.

in reply to: great deal #10652
thirty quid bit steep that .

I hope you don’t think those three games are £30 each
