what you doing on herei always lived in leigh/atherton area and follows both rl and football and watch bwfc in the mid 1970s home and away switch to rugby league in early 1980s due to working saturdays. last wanderers game in 1993. well done you have earn premier league place in 2012/2013. teams to go down wolves, qpr, blackborn
as i am massive warrior fan who wanted tics to go down to the championship.it is not going happen.tics should get 6 points against wolves and blackburn.
well done for the wins against liverpool, man utd, aresnal.latics have prove to be a premier league side for 2012/2013 season and tics go on for many premier league seasons

16152 against blackpool.4200 blackpool fans in the north stand means 11900 latics fans for a opening game for a premier league season what a great support latics have
And back on thread, Uwe Seeler and Pele
blackpool looks a good team.good away day
with blackpool ground capcity will make latics crowds looked great. no longer smallest crowd in the premier league
Thought it was funny miself
went yesterday afternoon had a great pint of kentish cider and 4 pints of cask beer which coachmans toffee beer was the best
in 1988 bolton were in the old divison 4 and short of money so they played on friday night to allow rugby league to play their semi final on the ground by the time rugby league had finish with the pitch it look like a plough field just to prove that is warriors that caused the damage to the pitch :D :D
As it has taken 15 years to grow our fanbase by 15,000+ – from 1841 in 94/95 to 18,413 last season, is it not fair to assume it will be another 7-10 years or so until we reach 25,000?
Considering we got over 20,000 on average in 05-06, we would have loads if we had continued at that rate of success. Proves how many JCl’s we had that season.[/quote]
and also a reason why I didn’t quote that season, things have levelled out over the last two/three years after the initial surge when we were promoted.Anyways, it wasn’t the point I was trying to get across, the fact that it has taken 15 years to get crowds of 18k average means it could well be another 10 years before we could look to getting near 25k.
There are still a LOT of scousers in Wigan (especially the Winstanley quadrant) that won’t change their allegance and will also bring their kids up supporting the red and blue teams in Liverpool. Even though it is bodering on child abuse they will still do it and social services will do nothing about it.
