Griff came on..Tried to be funny and failed miserably, even managed to make no sense in the ‘funny’ bit that he typed. If you cannot tell me what has gone over my head and instead come on with a daft face ( :roll: etc ) as if to say that I am daft…Then I have been proven right.

You may have the advantage over me here JR being a JCL and all that – but can you refresh my memory of when they beat us 5 – 3 in the cup or was it in the 60s or 70s
I remember us beating them 5-3 in the league but Roy H wasnt their manager as I recall

Blackburn beat us 5-3 in the cup (or was it 4-2?) in the cup when John Deehan was manager in 1998. Its the game where Deehan pulled his tactical master strokes of dropping his top scorer (David Lowe), changing his formation to 4-5-1, switching David Lee to the left wing & Jorg Smeets to the right (we have another manager who favours that too!!) & dropping our left back for the season up till then (Kevin Sharp) in favour of someone who hadn’t played in donkey’s (Steve Morgan).
Went 4-0 down before he reverted back to the team & formation he’d used all season & we pulled 2 goals back & had a blatant penalty turned down (for which the Blackburn player should have been sent off).

Martinez is hoping to keep Sinclair and Moreno at the club next year. Just wondering why as Sinclair has rarely played and Moreno is another Jason ScotlandSinclair looks like he has something to offer the team to be..And I have no idea why he hasn’t played more.
I think Moreno will be a hit once he settles…His ball control and touch are excellent…and he hasn’t really had a chance to score otherwise I think he would have bagged.If you would care to read back…

Ha Tesco’s a 24hr now if you want some more. Only awake as I am working 2-10 this week :x and have been out the last 2 nights so thought I would have a quiet one tonight…Doctors at 8.30 though so will be off watching 90210 soon. (90210 is the best and most under-rated programme on tv!) … Have a good rest of Birthday :D .. Shame the others couldn’t wish you well on here :shock: [/quote]

Got to be Hugo. 10 league goals from left mid (mainly) and always gives his all. Imagine how many he’d get if played in his best position down the middle.
Also, how many of his 10 have won games….Liverpool, Sunderland, Burnley – must be more

Makes sense to me, and SW too, I would think.
There are one or two on here who keep saying I am better than everyone else on this board recently. It makes me laugh almost as much as it makes those that actually know me laugh. But, you crack on with the inferiority complex if it makes you feel better.

If you would care to read back… I didn’t come on and just simply say SW was lying. It’s just that that was the only part you decided to quote. My initial part of the post was simply disagreeing with somebody that said Jimmy Bullard wasn’t funny…therefore I put my opinion across that he was :D
The only time I’ve spent in his company was when we were promoted from Division 1 (I think), John Filan (great bloke) and a number of the winning team were in Walkabout and just us, I was fairly bladdered but everyone else was just having a laugh, Bullard kept looking at me like he was a scared little boy, certainly not the ultra confident person we see on tv, it was one of our lads who put Teale on youtube singing “Teale’ll tear you apart” while having a yellow water. Good night to remember.
