Very busy today and was intending to make a brief visit to comment on one topic. I have read just two posts; Garswood’s and JamesC’s.
I spent the whole of the time in the period between the team being announced and kick-off bemoaning the fact that Scharner had been picked.
I spent the whole of the time between kick-off and his substitution praying he would be taken off.
I spent the rest of the game slagging off our support for a disgraceful and childish show of disrespect to one of our longest serving players – however poor we (I) may think he has been over the last few months, that was a shocking display.
We are comfortably the worst set of fans in the country. Apart from a valiant effort from the kids in the north-east corner, it was the usual moaning and groaning and know-nowt comments. Almost not surprising that our pampered prima donna players couldn’t be bothered putting in any effort.

Did you really think that we would be able to keep hold of them?Part of what makes Wigan attractive to the south/central americans is the ability to show case themselves to bigger clubs. As for Zog he clearly needed to get out of toon town but he was always just passing through.
I can also see us losing figgy this summer.

A few of u are quiet gormless to be honest. We didn’t play bad at all except for Scharner awful game. Anyway the only thing lacking in that game was creativity and the will to take a chance and gamble. I don’t agree with the booing. Not suprised they didn’t win being booed and screamed at for a mis judgment. But for all those who will defend urslef saying i didn’t boo and were whale, i dnt care. we aint world class.I say support you team who alot of you claim to love so dearly instead of complaining. If you dnt like it support another team.

Portsmouth had 3 academy players and could only name 4 subs. This season in my view will damage the attendance, my point being for me this season has been awful, yes we have played some good football but we have played 90% whale football, our pace has slowed down the team dont look as fit, also passing the ball on the floor side ways and backwards then a big hoof off Bramble to Charlie is not very good to watch, its whale!!!
For any neutrals going this season in my view would have been put off, a lot of people around me are considering not renewing their season tickets and who can blame them. If we stay up who is going to watch that sort of football apart from die hards. The attendances will be embarrasing next year, they are bad now. Why is Scotland still playing and why does Moses get 3 mins of normal time. We are playing for surival. Dave W needs to get rid!!! Bruce bought King who was awful but he had the bottle to stop playing him and ship him out!!!I don’t care if it is just the hardcore who renew their season tickets. At least when I have my ticket for next season and turn up to the first game there won’t be booing!

I believe that I cud. If there was no traffic and I was in my car I could be home in 7 minutes. I reckon it could be done with slight traffic to be fair.

And Jay, before i get slated for not being positive, there are no positives. We played the worst team in the league, who where completely under strength, who pretty much comfortably held His Highness, the god like Martinezs charges at bay all night.
Cant you see that he may be a great guy, he may have been a good (lower league) player for Wigan. HOWEVER HE IS AN INEPT PREMIER LEAGUE MANAGER.

I am sticking to my guns as I want Martinez to be in charge. Totally agree about the Scotland comment, I can see no sense in playing a man up front who is the biggest joke of a striker I have witnessed. He is awful. Also really don’t see why Moses didn’t get a chance earlier, and Moreno too for that matter.

Also thtytwoyears… I think Lib Dem are genuine and would be worth us putting our trust in.. But as I heard somebody else say… It would be a wasted vote. (to be fair if most people think like that, then that is the reason it is a wasted vote.)
