:lol: Dave whelan stadium has been permenantly banned from rlfans. No bad or abusive language was ever used. How petty is that, They can’t even have a bit of good natured banter. Thats old fashioned peanut fans for you that my fellow badgers. Them lot wouldn’t get banned off here 4 having good natured(no abusive) banter because thats ONE of the joys of having a forum.Its open to all. Yet another indication that peanut lobbing fans are stuck in their own little world and they can’t handle a GOOD NATURED JOKE. 1-0 to latics fans it is then :D

I’ve just read your 20 posts and you are correct – no bad or abusive language. They humoured you with the national stadium questions, then your mask began to slip when, instead of talking about the on-field performance of a 58-0 win, you chose to talk about the crowd.
A “mod” on here apparently has tried to ban me for the heinous crime of “banter”, but claims it didnt work. I guess even the moderating is superior on their site!

I haven’t a clue how the Scarborough retort got deleted, as I was posting myself at the time as to how dumb your reply was…. how many teams do you know that has ever took 15,000 fans away to a third division league game?

Can I state here and now, that it was my words not Roberto’s…. Bobby has far too much regard for anybody showing up to see Latics to state that, it was me who was unwilling to call them supporters (not fans, I am a fan of many things, it doesn’t mean I am a supporter of them).

You know the answer to your criticisms…..put yourself forward for the next meeting with Martinez as the representative of this website and put all your points across. Or do you prefer to criticize both him and JayT on here without having the guts to say what you want if you had the chance.Course, you could just be afraid that the questions you put to Martinez might recieve honest and sensible answers which blow your arguments out of the water.
There are several that I could and would send in to interviews, not just with Roberto but with the players as well – there are some that I would not.

Totally agree, I wonder how these people can call themselves SUPPORTERS…. surely there is a clue in the term.
Supporters don’t turn up at games and abuse the very staff that they proclaim to support.
Wasn’t Wenger, Fergusen (and even Bobby at Swansea) getting greif from their respective supporters because of bad/indifferent starts to their carrers at Manchester and arsenal, bith of these are veterans now.
I am lucky (or not dependant on how you look at it) that I went through the really bad times at Latics, so this is nothing compared to those days, there are a lot of people out there that need a very big reality check….
I just wonder what these same people will be like when/if we stay up… and more to the point whether they will be there next season whatever the division….

The pie and the scarf bits were done after the meeting was wrapped up, as we were leaving, it was a way of breaking the tension after a hard hour and a half.
I can’t expect you to understand, as even if you could you wouldn’t. We only had a set amount of time and not all the issues were covered. But if you really want the answer to the burning question as to why he keeps playing 4-5-1, I will listen to the recording again and try to decipher his view on tactics….. it is the third or fourth time I have spoke with him and his tactical nous is amazing.
Before anybody thinks the question was asked by us, forget it, he brought it up himself….. he still reads the site….

Bobby had the preseason playing with Kapo, de Ridder, Koumas and Cattermole in midfield, and to put the point bluntly, played very well in there for preseason. Just as the season starts he loses Cattermole to Sunderland, Koumas and de Ridder showed their true true colours and Kapo went naff and then got injured. So basically what he said re: Gomez is true, he had no alternative but to throw him on, instead of letting him ease his way in.
Scotland was banging them in last season and could have done with being eased in rather than being the ‘main man’ up front. Cho, Bouaouzan and King all featured in preseason and all failed when it came to playing in the prem….

Arguable, whatever… it’s a matter of our opinion, but he sees him every day in training and in the gym, so I won’t argue.After talking to him face to face, you can see he believes in what he is doing, believes he is so close to seeing this team click into place and just as importantly is not hiding.
