Missing a game is no big deal to me, never has been and my family and loved ones have always come before football and if they don’t then you need to take a step back and have a good look at yourself! I remember missing the game when we came back and beat Arsenal because it was my Son’s christening, yeah I was a bit gutted at the time but at the end of day you simply must put your family first before a set of 20 odd year old kids kicking a football around on ridiculously high wages!
Not a family Wedding, just a very good friend….. well I thought he was a very good friend until he booked his wedding on a match day :evil:

Who is daft enough to get married in the football season?
Remember it is not only the Wedding Day that you force your mates to miss a game, but you assign yourself to a life of missing a game a year (ish).

Amazing how these tactics were great last season, even though it took till November to start kicking in.
But this season it is garbage for some reason.
I am not saying that we are going to hit a run like we did last season, but for goodness sake guys get behind him and give the lads some support.

It is technically illegal to drink en route to any sporting event it just never gets policed as muchCoach companies have used it as an excuse when travelling to other sporting events, but only coaches travelling to football games are actually bound by law, no other sport.

It’s quite a simple theory isn’t it, if we have the ball, no matter where on the pitch, it means the opposition haven’t and therefore will find it hard to score.
Unfortunately our defence hasn’t been the tightest and so when the oppo ultimately do get some possession we have conceded. We need the defence to be solid.
On the other side, if we had more shots (especially on target) the passing would be deemed worthwhile, but we have lacked there also.
We are fickle (fans) and was loving the passing last season, because we were winning against teams that couldn’t cope. We are now in a league that can cope and so need to be more clever.

It once again disregards fans, how can the average football fan plan to travel to away games that would cost in excess of £150 a game (probably more)?
It would be for the TV audience, which would no doubt be huge…. bugger the loyal fans.
But as mentioned, if it makes it better for us clubs that are left behind, then fill ya boots.
