You have also got to remember that in the rise through the leagues when you are on about having the good banter, it was with a lot of rival fans as well. Being part of Rivals back then, meant that it was easy for rival fans to drift between boards.

At deaths door?
This week there have been 11,475 visits from 4,798 different users look at the site, flicking through nearly 110,000 pages (the majority of which are on the message boards).
Not too sure that is a web site at death’s door and that is with very few new articles going on of late due to me being very busy setting a new business up (any offers for articles at the moment greatly appreciated).
Generally in the past, the only users that would post this sort of thread, are ones from other boards that were trying to poach. As I don’t think your doing this I wonder where the point is?
The users of this board are individuals that have their point of view, granted they are stubborn buggers, but at the end of the day there is no ‘clique’ as you put it. You cant class a group that agrees on something as being a clique can you?
That mad fact about this board is the amount of people that do just ‘read’ it and don’t post their two penneth worth. The reality is that there is just as many people posting now as there was in the first and Championship divisions, but there are 4 times more people looking at the site.
Sorry if I have blown your dillusions.

I didn’t actually watch it, but on the scoreline it looks like they got a decent crack of the whip, had no-one sent off for nothing and the man in black wasn’t scared of giving a penalty to the away side…. oh how Boxing Day could have been so much different……
