I’ll take that as a tongue in cheek post Fil.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! There is one thing for certain, Riera should deffo start ahead of Delort [needs to sit and watch how the game is played in this country for a few weeks before getting a regular start]
The second change should be Tavernier in at right wing back. I’ve watched this lad in pre-season and again tonight when he came on, we looked a real threat down the right. Nothing against Perch, there may be a slot for him somewhere in the starting 11, but Tav deserves a run of games.
The approach play tonight was quite good a times, but on others was too slow, allowing a poor Huddersfield Team to pick us off when in the last third.
Yet another game that has passed us by without getting what we deserved, we surely must start getting the breaks in the box.

What a journey! What about the poor Development squad players, who would then never get any game time and therefore, would never develop?

We snatched a defeat from the jaws of a win there today. I mean it this time, I am never going to Ewood park again.

What a journey! We always go to the Brown Cow on Livesey Branch Road. No probs for away fans, costs 3 dabs to park up and is 10 mins walk from ground. Can be a barsteward of a hill to walk back to after game if youve lost. :(
Not sure of distance from train station, but its in the Feniscowles area.

What a journey! At one point the other night, 3 out of the 4 defenders were Everton players. The same Everton who let in 6 goals the other week against better opposition.
John Stones got 7 out of 10 in one of the national papers I saw on Tuesday. I was watching him quite closely and he made what seemed like hundreds of back passes and only 2 or 3 forward.
I’m not a great fan of Glen Johnson but he is on another planet to Stones.

What a journey!I was just going to fly off the handle there, thinking our players were eating chocolate bars at Chrissy Park. :S

What a journey!I hate shirts that are full of sponsors. It’s good for the club of course but just makes fans look like a walking advertising board.
Isn’t that precisely the idea, though?
Which is my point! Free advertising for Skybet that fans are actually paying for! I guess that some people are just gullible or stupid, you decide!
Yes, anybody who buys a replica shirt beyond the age of 18 is stupid/pathetic, regardless of the impact on the manufacturer’s income.
…and don’t forget the FKW’s whilst your at it Christopher. B)

What a journey!I’ve bought a home shirt for as long as can remember and don’t give a flying hoot what advertising is on it. The idea for our younger fans is that it is exactly the same as the one the players are wearing.
There was an exception a few years back when the kiddies shirt didn’t have the gambling related sponsors logo on, but the adult’s did.I very rarely wear the home shirt at matches, the main reason for buying one is to fly the flag when I’m on holiday abroad, if it comes out early enough that is.
Many football tops are instantly recognised by opposition supporters by the sponsors logo rather than the colours these days. The advertising is aimed more at your corporate whalers, rather than the average supporter on the terracing. Seeing “Fly Emirates” on an Arsenal shirt or “Samsung” on a Chelsea shirt, doesn’t motivate me to book an holiday or by a telly / phone etc..
As for the arm badges, they are optional and I suppose its the fans choice if they want to have a replica shirt, or a nearly replicate shirt for that season.
Must admit I got my Barclays arm badge on both sleeves when we were in prem, rather good status symbol that was, even far better than the first time I had my name on the office door. Can’t get worked up about shirt advertising, I’m more concerned about performances on the pitch. :cheer:
