Officially goes / released on July 1st
Diame’s contract with Wet Spam only starts on 1st July un aw. B)
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Roy has planted no seeds whatsoever in my mind.
We all knew that the likes of Walcott and Oxlade- Chamberalin are great young prospects playing in the EPL, but apart from Walcots 10 min cameo of super sub against Sweden, they didn’t make great claims or look outstanding prospects as some of the young uns did in teams that didn’t make the last 8.
I said when he was appointed that he wont lose too many games but again wont win many. According to the FA he’s supposed to be one of the the most technically gifted managers around, well just check the stats for this tournament. We’ve had most shots against us and had the least possession in games than any other team. Bleedin eck Pirlo had more possession and made more passes than the entire England midfield, how technically crap is that.
He then states today that he is not concerned about conceding loads of possession, he is more interested in stopping the opposition getting round the back of our defence. Hey Mr Hodgeson just re-run last nights game and check the number of times Italy “got round the back” only to be thwarted by Hart or a poor finish, it could and should have been a cricket score. If your looking forward to the world cup qualifiers, be ready for some boring 0-0 draws against teams we should beat doing handstands. :woohoo:

What a journey!Moses OUT (very good in fits and starts…), NZogbia BACK IN (quality and greater consistency, team player)
N’Zogbia. Team Player.
Not really phrases you normally see very close to one another. ;)
Enough of a team player to be recognised by his team mates and be awarded PLAYERS’ PLAYER OF YEAR (and Supporters Player of Year) for 2009-10. B)
Moses, (understandably) still has scope for development where his decision-making (and finishing) is concerned
e.g. West Brom (H), Bolton (A)…Rodallega nearly throttled him (refusal to pass to better-positioned team-mates) !!
Granted, getting Nzogbia back would be a tall order (maybe non-starter), but if it did happen (and Moses went), I wouldn’t be too disappointed.
To witness again the wonders of NZogbia e.g. Arsenal (3-2), WHU (3-2),
and Stoke (1-0, assist) …great moments !Topic certainly stimulated some debate …
Think you might find it was figs assist at Stoke not Zog. The press got it wrong and I’m surprised some of our fans have as well. :woohoo:

What a journey!I present as evidence for the defence the cases of:
Simon Haworth sent off playing for Tranmere v Wigan 17 Sep 2002
Darren Sheridan sent off playing for Oldham v Wigan 14 December 2002, and
Lee Cattermole sent off playing for Sunderland v Wigan 11 Sep 2010.Some teams do seem to use the tactic ;)
Lee Cattermole got himself sent off with 2 bad challenges and don’t recall him being wound up by anyone !
He was certainly wound up by the crowd who boo’d every breath he took.
I’m shocked jr our own fans winding up the opposition players :woohoo:
Bloody Rubbish Wigan ;)
I was the one who handed Brucie a tesco bag with photos of cattermole and bramble hanging out. Didn’t find it funny Mr Bruce. :P

What a journey!Whelan hopes a double-your-money new contract offer will keep wing wizard Victor Moses at Wigan Athletic and out of the clutches of Chelsea. The boot man at SB is on £65k p/w. :woohoo:
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! If we do get a good price for Vic, bomb straight in for either Hoilett from BBurn, Jarvis from Wolves or Wi from Bolton. That will be good business done.
If its true that Whelan has offered to double Victors wage from £20k p/w to £40k p/w, then he must be mad to move on knowing he will be a bit player for any top 6 or 7 clubs in the prem.
BTW we might even be that top 6 or 7 club if we carry on were we left off last season. :woohoo:

What a journey! If your throwing Cattermole in there you might as well include Bramble un aw.
PS Palacios is now a bench player with Stoke, bigger and better things? Don’t think so.
What was that wingers name who went to Coventry and was never seen again…
ray woods
correct! goodpost
Think we played Coventry in a cup game and Woods ran um ragged and put himself in shop window. He must have got a bad injury as we never saw him again. :woohoo:
