Not a fan myself, But if there is one man who can bring out the best in him, It’s Martinez. He has the knack, Especially wingers.

Just like the lighter side of people on here can get the best out of CL posters. Especially Whingers. B)

Sky Sports understands Liverpool’s move for free agent midfielder Mohamed Diame is back on.

Sky SN say he is in second talks with Wet Spam having had his dizzy head wrapped up his own arse with aspirations of joining the likes of Liverpool.

What’s the betting he is lined up alongside Jimmy Bullard, Paul Scharner, Pascal Chimbonda, Emile Heskey and maybe Charles N’Zogbia in a couple of years time. :woohoo:

Why is it i have just been for a paper and 3 pages are dedicated to him complaining as to why he has not been selected. The paper is lapping it up, Shows next to nothing about England, Just a story about a footballer who has been injured all season and somehow thinks he has the right to play. Why is it, That every tournament the media big us up leading up to it then when it comes around they try to find things to ruin any chance. Every tournament rather than give people hope and the lads good luck messages etc like other countries do, Ours tries to weed out stories to balls it all up.

Gerrin back to the topic for a minute, I know someone else who is in the squad, been given the captains armband and yet missed quite a few matches last season through injury. B) There is only one set of cnuts that stopped Rio getting in that original squad and that is the FA.

Hodgeson is the perfect “yes man” for brooking and the rest of the suited and bootied cronies. If Redknapp had got the job, he would have told the FA to butt out of team affairs and I’m sure Ferdinand would have been in and the bad apple that is John Terry out!

I think I would be just as aggrieved as Ferdinand if I had been shat on by the pompous set of tworts.

Sky are reporting that the young centre forward at Crewe Powell, is on his way to OT for a fee of £4m.
I’m sure SAF will want him out on loan next season if he does sign. Might be a good loan signing for us without the worry of throwing a lot of money on him and him turning out to be a Mr Prato head. :woohoo:

The man has no balance or strength when kicking the ball. The commentator also said that his current team had been relegated. :woohoo:

How he managed to screw 14 games out of us is a total mystery to me.

Brighton’s ground was pretty crap before they built the new stadium.
Was weird watching the game tucked away in that little pen. Only went the once but came home very happy with a resounding victory and a superb Jimmy Bullard strike from 30 yards. goodpost

                          How sad.

Still , as long as the price is right clubs , and it seems some of their fans , will whore themselves out to whichever foreign syndicate comes along flashing the cash. A century of history changed by some bleedin foreigner who’s been there two minutes.

Of course it won’t stop at changing the colours. The more foreign owners that come into the game will mean it’s only a matter of time before some poor unfortunates will see their club being moved , Wimbledon style , to God only knows which part of the country.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, criticising purely foreign owners and suggesting they will throw away history without any thought is somewhat unfair.

If my memory serves meright it was Pete Winkleman (English) who moved Wimbledon to Milton Keynes and our own Dave Whelan (also English) got rid of Springfield Park and the 100 years of history that went with it.[/quote]

OK there comes a time when naturally you have to move on. If you think Springfield Park could be the home of Premier League football, then you are being as sarcastic that your post sounds. B)

Danny Murphy is still the only player I have actually stood up and clapped off when playing for the opposition.

Our first game in the premier league away was Charlton and it is still the best display I’ve seen from a midfielder since we got in the prem. He got subbed with about 10 mins to go and I applauded him off the pitch, despite getting strong looks from the fans around me, he was awesome! goodpost

Never forget that game against Leeds when he hit the post from about 10 yards out, on what must have been the hardest surface in football history.

At least most of us had heard about Jason Scotland before his arrival at the DW. :P

Having said that, the lad scored 12 goals last season and is out of a good bloodstock being the love child of Theo Walcott and Paul Robinson.
