I believe a draw is like a lose in rugby?

Not when you are 2pts down with the last kick of the game – a draw is a ‘kin awesome result.

Maybe tomorrow, if our landlords wigan athletic have a last-second penalty and equalise against Spuds, I’ll remind you of that quote Mr Fat fan. ;)
Look Mr McGimp, why don’t you accept that Wigan is and has been blue since we got in the Prem.

The day I resort to going onto a Chubster message board arguing with all the big fat Chubsters and McGimps, will be the day I’ve accepted that the Worriors are the king pins in this village. :snooty:

Now remind me what is your excuse for coming on this football message board? :shhh:

I dont think i have been so underwhelmed by a line up before :angry-banghead:

Sold 6000 tickets in the first hour, sounds like loads of others may be overwhelmed,

How the fek do you manage to “smuggle” a coffin into a football stadium?

I was forced faced down on the floor at the DW with a snipers gun at mi back, for having a steel comb in mi back pocket. :scared-eek:

Probably didn’t help the fact that I have the same hair style as Griff. :shifty:

Didn’t actually see the game, just the goals. The pass to Young was a belter, you have to admit.

Typical of the golden generation of players, think they can put in one good pass a game, for the cameras of course, and that does it for them. 90 mins of performance would go down a treat !
But thats what separates a world class player from Billy Ordinary. That one crucial pass, that goal from just one half chance, that one last ditch tackle to stop a certain goal. We’ve huffed and puffed for 90 mins on a regular basis this season only to be outdone in the last minute having squandered one or two golden opportunities, or bossed possession in the wrong areas.
If you are old enough to remember someone like Jimmy Greaves, it will be his many 2 yard tap ins that spring to mind, not his 90 minute out and out battling display. :snooty:

For every flop Whelan’s been involved in, he has produced 3 players who have gone on to make him millions.
Let’s focus on the positives that have helped keep our club afloat, whilst still slogging it out in the top flight eh boys.

PS Who’s to say Mr Bosselli won’t come back and do the business next season. :shhh: :liar:

Just check a certain Mr Drogba’s record when he first signed for Chelsea. Half of you lot would have had him hanging from the cenotaph at Aspull at the end of his first campaign.

How ironic was it that in view of my strong opinion about not standing at football matches, they had a news article about it on BBC north west last night and zoomed straight onto me standing at our last televised home game. The commentary at the time was something on the lines of “a lot of fans would prefer to stand at football matches”.
Should I sue the BBC for defamation of character or summut? :o
