But thats what separates a world class player from Billy Ordinary. That one crucial pass, that goal from just one half chance, that one last ditch tackle to stop a certain goal. We’ve huffed and puffed for 90 mins on a regular basis this season only to be outdone in the last minute having squandered one or two golden opportunities, or bossed possession in the wrong areas.
If you are old enough to remember someone like Jimmy Greaves, it will be his many 2 yard tap ins that spring to mind, not his 90 minute out and out battling display. :snooty:From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!How ironic was it that in view of my strong opinion about not standing at football matches, they had a news article about it on BBC north west last night and zoomed straight onto me standing at our last televised home game. The commentary at the time was something on the lines of “a lot of fans would prefer to stand at football matches”.
