That new coach has certainly got the boys in cherry and white in shape for the coming season.

What a journey!Since when has anyone ever given a feck or cared about anything that Whelan has to say ? Least of all you rugby men.
One minute wishing him dead; next minute digging up quotes by him to try to point score on an internet messageboard. Make tha mine up laddie.
Oh the irony.
How many threads have there been on here regarding Whelan.
Anyway, get down on Friday and watch LOCAL lads, playing for THEIR town in a game that the TOWN is famous for.
When has Australia and New Zealand ever been classed as local. Are they playing in the Uncle joes Mintball cup or summut and just remind me were your coach is from….Plat Waz ??

What a journey!I hate rugby with a passion but must admit that Mcguire geezer is going to take his team right to the top……
That try he scored against the crusaders last week when he ran the length of the field was superb!!

What a journey!no i’ll do it for you..
1) There’s no difference.
The goals are the same size, the keepers are the same size and all try to make themselves big. I’ve seen Scotland score on numerous occasions when one on one with the keeper, i’ve seen him turn defenders and shoot in the bottom corner etc etc. The player is having a mixture ofr trying to hard and having no luck. If you want to crucify him for that, then good on you, i would sooner get behind him and hope that he can get his first prem goal which might be the first of many for the guy.

What a journey!OK Griff, just lets keep putting a friendly arm around one another and I’m sure we can get through this!!

What a journey!totally agree!!
There is no difference in being one on one with a premiership keeper or a championship or non league keeper. The fact is, he is creating chances at this level, but going through a torrid time on hitting the onion bag. That doesn’t necessarily make him a bad player or prove he is out of his depth.
There are many examples of this type of situation over the years, going back to Gary Birtles when he joined Man U and more recently peter Crouch when he joined Liverpool.
If he wasn’t linking up or creating anything I’d be worried but he is and looks to be getting better each game. He is 30 years old and is playing at the top level for the first time, in a team thats finding its feet having changed considerably both in personnel and tactically.Whether he makes it at this level will depend on a number of factors including at some point having a big slice of luck, which I hope the lad has for the rest of the season.
JS IS A WIGAN ATHLETIC PLAYER!! :)From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Does it not make you feel a bit twitchy when its reported that a club are reportedly “offering” their player to other clubs.
Can you imagine us “offering” Zog to say Fulham or Pompy? it just wouldn’t happen, not for the better players that is .

What a journey! My mate was telling me last night that his brother in law was walking past that poster the other day and saw 5 Wigan Warriors 2010/2011 season tickets nailed to it. There was a sign above it saying “first come first served”, he thought, I’m having some of that………………………………..

What a journey!will you phone the samaritans or take it out on your cat or dog and stop boring folk with the same shi te everyday
will i get an answer to my question at the samaritans, seems even a pri ck like you is finding it hard to answer the ‘why martinez keeps playing scotland question’
when you get an answer if its not what you want to hear you call us “superfans” and “luvees”
I’ll say this just the once then please STFU!!.
The ball played through for Hugo to run clear on goal, was just one of things he brought to the party yestersday. The fact is, that if hugo had scored we would have probably gone on to win the game. The fact that he didn’t and we lost was not all down to JS.
Now FO please.

What a journey! What about the two penalty misses, did they have you resting your cases??
The point is, I know he should have scored at least 6 or 7 this season, but the lads effort is second to none. There are others that cost us the points today, yet the daggers are only out for JS.
Look at the bigger picture boys!!

What a journey!Did you do the same when rodders was through one and one with the keeper and feked up??
