Couldn’t believe it yesterday when Figgy got done. Edman has been bench warming all season and yesterday….no signs of.

Thought Thomas, Charlie, Hugo and Scotland were class above the rest on show, although I was quite impressed with Fletcher for them he looked a real handful and was chasing lost causes in the 90th minute. The boy Eagles has not been getting in the starting 11 this season and yet he too looks the biz.

        Great display and great result.

            100% Gomez!!.
It looks like Bobby thinks Sinclair is too much of a luxury or will not fit into his game plan for some reason, otherwise he would have been in from day one.

The boy has looked total class when unleashed and I have been expecting him to start every game since the villa match, when he came on and tormented their defenders for 15- 20 mins or so.

I reckon this mon could destroy the likes of Caldwell, Carlise and Alexander that are without doubt “championship players” at best. :o

It seems a strange time to sack him, they should have done it at the end of last season not when boro are 4th!

being 4th in the fizzy pop is worse than being bottom of the premmy league isn’t it? :D

Sorry to disagree but age has jackshit to do with it. The old saying “if tha gud inuff thar owd inuff” goes without saying.

What age was Rooney, Walcott or Fabergass even when they first mixed it with the big boys in the prem?

I agree but wish we were more direct and play 442 against teams like Hull, Burnley Wolves etc. Zoggie and Sinclair should be on the wings with 2 centre forwards instead of a lone one. We don’t need 5 in the middle against the lesser teams in this division.

Yes im dissapointed with the result, but the fact is bobs team is now starting to take shape.Yesterday we controlled the game for long periods of the game with some neat football and good 1touch passing, our downfall was some pish poor crossing into the box, at times no urgency. brown did his homework and roughed up scharner which resulted in him going off injured and that no hoper gomez coming on, in my eyes sinclair would have to start to had some pace and flair with rodders

                      [/quote]

The only problem with changing the shape as it is at the moment is that we would not get the possession we earned on Saturday. I counted at least 5 or 6 occasions when we had good shooting chances just outside the box and hit row Z. It seemed ironic that for the first time in ages we actually finished off the pre match warm up by blasting balls into goal for a good 5 mins. Scotland, Diame and Zog hit the net every time, then during the match they couldn’t get within yards of it.

Is it just me, or does anyone else agree that Mario is a useless, overrated sack of sh1t? He was awful on Saturday, not for the first time either. Where the fcuk was he for their second goal? Geovanni had a tap in where Mario should have been. He brings nothing to the team, and why he’s captain is beyond me. We should have bought a replacement in the summer, and I said that in the summer and plenty of times before that too.

I’ll tell you were Mario was for the second goal, he had made a great run forward as boycie had the ball ready to start another attack. The fact that Boycie made a rare error and gave the ball away meant that everyone was out of position.
There are not many right backs in the prem I’d swap Mario for, have you seen how many times Glen Johnson is caight out of postion in a game and he is Englands number one RB FFS.

By the way those two games you pointed out the scores for meant absoluterly jack sh_it. In that pathetic sport of yours you can lose a ponfull of games and still make the play offs. The games that mattered were the ones that were soooo predictable and one of them ended your season, so do one chubster boy.

To be fair its been OK since they last re-laid it. Apparently they dug right down and sorted the drainage out. It does seem a bit harder and compact now than it did.

Had to laugh at Hull watering their pitch yesterday when it was absolutely pishing down. Whats all that about?

And you wonder why people have a go at you, you utter plant pot!!”. Your’e either a latics fan or not, just decide one way or the other matey.
By the way “I got £150 for a gigg last night…blah, blah blah” you are a childish fool…..FACTl!!.

                                AND ALSO, YOUR SIGNATURE…..

“FromMatlocktoManU……How far have we fekin come!”

Now you are calling me childish. Is that not a bit sad, coming from a bloke who is, what? 50 odd years old? No, no, no…..if you’re being a tw*t with me, let’s have it out now.

Fact: I was criticized for not going to Hull. I explained the reason was that I was being paid the said amount, and would be daft not to accept it.(Is right!) What’s wrong there, then? Actually, I was on at Fox and Goose, on Wigan lane, last night. Landlord Steve’s a good chap, and was well pleased with me. Proper decent night was had, and the place was packed. I did my work, and as always, earned EVERY penny. Was home at 12.15 with a kebab, and ate it watching Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.

Plant pot? No. You see, I’m not daft enough to go all over the place, spending daft money on watching that rubbish. And no, I don’t specifically mean Latics, I mean the Premiership “product”, whatever the f*ck that is?
I have no intention of going to ANY away game this season. Do you go all the time? Ah well, that’s YOUR choice. Fair play and all that. But if you are happy to shell out the likes of £50 at Tottenham this season, then more fool you.

Yeah, I know SOMEBODY has to. But as long as people do, the prices won’t come down.

“And you wonder why people have a go at you”

Is it because I’m the Robbie Savage of message boards?

Can’t half wind you people up…………….

Jrfatfan, I’m slightly dissappointed that you have risen to it. I expected more from you.

Hey DFS thought you didn’t do pubs, specially grotty little ones like the F & G. If you didn’t already know, the Wigan Lane pubs are always packed on a saturday night irrespective of who’s on. I do the lane pub crawl quite regularly and believe me the place will have been packed out in spells and quiet in spells. Apart from the 10 or so regulars, you can’t keep um in, they are robotic in the way they trudge from pub to pub finishing off in the town centre somewhere.

I’m not even bothering answering your essay of a response and as for being a tw*t with you, I don’t need sonny, you do that to yourself, time and time and time again. It sounds very much that your nearing the time to freak out again, go low for a few weeks and come back under a different user name only to be spotted again as ye old DFS.
By the way”Its sunday mate, you was out “working” last night, shouldn’t you be playing with your kids instead of acting like one?
