Here you go
I recognise Barry Knowles, David Lowe, Roy Tunks, Alex Cribley and Andy Holden. Who’s that on the left behind Barry?
And why is Mike “keep it down!” Reid behind Andy Holden?
The player behind Barry Knowles looks like a tashless Phil Daley.

What a journey!Promising kids in the area have always been snapped up by United, City, Liverpool and Everton. Parents heads are turned, and they sign up at the age of 8 or so (or if not formally signed there are “agreements”).
Burnley scout around this area too. They operate a development centre at the JMO Sport park in Skem.
A couple of years back, I watched my lad play for his primary school against another school.one of their player was outstanding, and I mean, outstanding. His control, touch, everything was a class above everyone else. He was like a bloke playing against kids, running the whole game. I was flabbergasted and actually got talking to his parents and in all honesty, they were really modest and said they had no idea where his skills come from. He reminded me of a young Paul Scholes. One of his goals was a ‘Rabona’ right in the top corner from 20 yards. Ridiculous strike for an 11 year old. The best kid I’ve ever seen. I was amazed when his parents told me he hadn’t been snapped up. He was Wigan Boys captain at his age re group, but no club had snapped him up. I contacted Latics, and I also spoke to a Burnley scout about him and they snapped him up for their academy. Honestly, the lad was a belting player. Neither he or his parents realised just how good.
On the flipside, I’ve seen some kids round here, all gob and cocky. Signed up by United, City etc, yet they were nowhere near as good as this kid. That annoys me greatly.I’m not sure if Latics local scouting is up to scratch.
Seriously Dave no disrespect but would you know that?. The lad you saw who was head and shoulders above the rest, but how good was the rest?. Agahowa looked head and shoulders above the rest of his team when we signed him. Looked a crock of shyte playing in the English league.

What a journey!Walking to my seat in the away stand stand at Fleetwood and Jayt shouting over aw reet John!
On a serious note everything about the Fleetwood game, weather, chippy on corner, the result, Massey’s wonder goal Superman’s Flossy dance, the celebrations after etc. etc. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! They’re in talks to be taken over by a guy who owns Eastleigh with little financial backing of his own. Contracts mean they have to discard most of their 1st team, and have numerous multi-million transfers still to pay. It’s difficult to imagine a much worse option for a manager like Cook.
He’s fronting a consortium that are planning to take over the club after the current owner has settled all debts, meaning we start debt free with a £38m parachute payment due. Not a bad starting point for a 3rd division club. I seem to recall Latics being dubbed the Man Utd of League 1 with their £9m parachute payment in 2015 – that must make Sunderland the Real Madrid and Barcelona of League 1. 16,000 season tickets sold before it was announced that Ellis Short is on his way – probably another 10,000 sold once the new owners take charge. Its going to be fun at some of these grounds next season – they’ll never have seen away support like it.

What a journey! The Rovers fans will be more nervous NL. They will know that if we do win today Donny are already on holiday. They could have won 10-0 there on Tuesday chances they missed. I’ve got a feeling it might be champioooonay, champioooonay olay, olay, olay, day today.

What a journey!I don’t think we were helped with the paras jumping into the stadium. The timing was cocked up, the players came out, shook hands, ran to warm up….then were shepherded off the pitch again to let the 3 paras land safely. They then had a wait of about 5 minutes until all that was done, before we could kick off.
We then started very sluggish, and almost conceeded about 3 times in the first ten minutes. I’m all for supporting the armed forces and all that, but I’d rather the club cut out these fancy ideas and just concentrate on the football and winning games. It’s not the players or coaching staffs fault, but the delay didn’t help us one bit, and it could’ve lost us that game today. Rotherham worked very hard, and we weren’t clever enough to break them down.
But, we didn’t lose, we gained a point, and Blackburn dropped 2 with that late goal. Win on Tuesday and today’s point will be a big one. Having an off day but not losing…not so bad.
Fuck me Dave, that post is so condescending. To blame the paras is a total disgrace, didn’t both teams have to wait for the paras to do their stuff? . That had no effect on the game and to think it did hang your head in shame. The reason we struggled was a mixture of the battling for every ball by the Millers and the failings of the referee to know the difference between a foul and a fair challenge.

What a journey!”Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that”Said the great Bill Shankley nearly 50 years ago.

What a journey! And Donald Dack subbed after 12 mins.Like us with Powell, Rovers are a different team without the influential Duck in it.
