Referee was one of the worst last night, ruined the game from early on. Burton fans after the match weren’t happy with him either.
I’d have taken a point before the game, but we did our best at times to hand all three points to Burton.. Disappointing we didn’t learn from the game at our place, passing it around the back against a team who defend from the front was seat of your pants stuff at times.
Perkins will be a big miss as our midfield looked unbalanced, and thought they had the better of it in the middle.
He available Satdy. :)

What a journey!Set up for it and got what we went for. I suppose that’s one of those draws they call a point gained. Thank fook this league is so shit this season that drawing over a third of your games can get you promoted. Watch out though it’s an home game on Saturday. A dull one or two nil will do I reckon. Well done lads in grinding out the point again.Your a “half glass empty person” Donny so you would see it that way.
Is it a shit league or are there more decent teams than the usual 3 or 4?
As somebody mentioned earlier in this thread, thank fek you’re not a Burton fan. Their GD is half ours and their top scorer has just 8 goals.
That last night was one of the most boring games I’ve been to this season, partly cos of all the whistle blowing going on every 20-30 secs.
I actually rate the football that’s been served up this season, it’s on par with the Championship if not better at times.
It doesn’t matter one shiny shyte how we do it, the task in hand is promotion and not playing all out attacking football just to please the likes of you and me. GC has and is doing a great job in his rooky season as manager of a football club. I’m actually over the moon that it just happens to be the one I support. :cheer:

What a journey! Why all this negativity after just one bad result FFS.
You always get unexpected results at this time of the season. That’s why the play offs were introduced, 8 or 9 teams in each division can still go up, stay up, or get relegated. They are all fighting for their lives, remember the Sheff Utd and Stoke games?
If you start to ponder and dwell on one game, you will have a nervous breakdown.
However having said that, even though the coaches are only leaving at 4:30pm and my office is less than 50 yards from the pick up point, I have had to take a day off work and have had butterflies since 7.30 this morning. This is turning into the longest day of my life. :woohoo:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Oh no that’s awful news.
Have known Dave for many years and always got a nod or a wink off him on match days, as he prowled the tunnel area.
I didn’t know he had been ill, a sad, sad loss. Thoughts are with his family and friends.
Good night buddy. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! Was indeed, but Doncaster deserve some credit. They out fought us, out played us and man for man looked more up for it.
Glad the fans stayed to applaud the team, the players looked like they really appreciated it.

What a journey! No Latics players in their and i think thats GC’s team talk for him tomorrow just pin that on the board.
Well that team talk didn’t work did it?
Thrashed with players like McCann,Wabara,Davies,Vukic,Morgan and Jacobs not even starting. Ffs![/quote]If those had played and the following left out;
Perkins, Wildshut, Daniels, McAleny and Grigg
…you would be saying exactly the same. Remember, fans are great at picking a team AFTER the game. B)

What a journey!Even I was thinking about bombing out of this thread, but then I saw the “Martinez out” banner on SSN and it re-energised me.
I’ve heard a rumor that someone pinched is ipad and that has completely thrown him. That and having incompetent backroom staff, when will he ever learn.
No wonder his hair disappeared overnight, that champions league promise to BK must be grinding on his nerve ends.
Anyway you lot can bugger off, I’m making a concerted effort to keep this thread alive, well at least till the blue side of mersyside taste champions league footy. :lol:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! What result suits us best tomorrow neet ?Maybe a draw
Doesn’t matter IMHO, both those teams will not go up via autos or play offs.

What a journey! And as I’m never posting here again no one will read this. First time Bruce was here he gave Mr Whelan assurances he was taking the job even sorted out the players released list then promptly fooked off to Palace. Don’t hear the same “judas” remarks pointed in his direction. And who was it who said after he had left again, “now I can go shopping at Harrods instead of Tesco” ?. mmmmm
At least Bruce peeshed off before the end of the season and didn’t wait for us to be relegated.
Having said that, I was the one who gave him the tesco bag with the photos of Cattermole and Bramble hanging out on two sticks. :woohoo:
