What a journey!I spotted this lad’s potential within 10 mins of the first game against Crewe at the DW.
Probably the best midfielder I’ve seen this season, although our own Max Power does push him close.
As Derek says, he glides along the pitch and never stops running. There was one passage of play where he tussled with Power for the ball, it seemed to go on for ages, but Colclough came away with the ball in the end.If we can get this lad on board and find a decent centre half with pace and experience in this league, we will be in full throttle for the autos in my opinion. :cheer:

What a journey!I can believe that cos we had at least 7 or 8 guilt edge chances. Our finishing was pish poor nothing to do with GC or formations. If GC doesn’t put a bid in for the boy Colclough he wants his head seeing to. I’ve seen him 3 times and he has been pushing for MOM on each occasion. We’d probably ger him for a few hundred grand.

What a journey! He’s a changed Mon, is our beloved Bobby. During his tenure at the Latics he would always say “the officials have a hard task, so you can’t really criticise them”. Now he’s vying with Arsen Wenger for the top whingers trophy !
Justifiably so, I think yesterday[/quote]
To be fair for the majority of managers they are right. :woohoo:

What a journey! It appears that Warbara was the first choice target for Rangers but didn’t want to go so up stepped Tavernier.

What a journey!Reece on the right, Reece on the left, we are going to be The Rolls Reece of football teams.

What a journey! All their goals came down our right side. For the first we had Wildschut on the right wing who doesn’t track back plus Daniels who had a mare and Barnett as the right-sided CB.
For the second Jacobs, equally inept at tracking back, had swapped with Wildschut so the problem hadn’t been addressed.
James comes on for Barnett so they shift the back four across to accommodate him because we don’t have a CB on the bench and the third goes in.Also, at 3-1 Widschutt, then on the left, sets up Grigg who for the third time squanders a clear-cut chance to put the game out of reach.
I still have to be convinced about Grigg. He needs too many chances to score, lacks close control and is too lightweight to play the lone striker role.
The deficiencies are there to see. I expect them to be sort out this month.
Please tell me that’s a tongue in cheek remark FFS!

What a journey! If we can beat Chesterfield I would have happily took 7 points before the 3 home games started but gutted could and should have been 9…Some calamitous defending and weird substitution.Thought Grigg was outstanding and never stopped working .Keeps us on the tails of leaders but should have closed game out as I thought Sheffield were crap.Onwards and upwards now.!Can’t disagree with any of that. I came off the ground feeling sick as a pig that we had surrendered a 3 goal lead, but also quite positive that Sheff Utd will not be in the battle with us for an automatic promotion spot. :( :)

What a journey!Put it this way, if we have 8 attempts at goal, including 3 or 4 clear cut chances in the first half, I’ll be happy.
They can be crawling forward on all fours as far as I’m concerned, the 3 points is what counts, so whatever formation, whatever tempo, defend properly and take your fekin chances boys! :cheer:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Just watched the video interview with captain Morgan after Thursdays’ game. It was interesting to hear what he said about the possession, passing tactics latics adopt.
He said I know the fans get frustrated, but its done for a reason, it gets the opposition very tired and the team can then capitalise on it in the final third of the game.
It’s not the way I really want the team winning, but if it works, fair enough. :woohoo:From Matlock to ManU
