Look at the KC pitch – fine.

The pitch is fooked because of where the stadium is built simple as.

Oh and the groundsman has said that the football ruins the pitch more than the rugby, which if you think is about right. Look where the worst areas are. The goalmouth. Rugby is very rarely played in this area. Also, look at the damage done when a player slides on his knees celebrating a goal.(granted doesn’t happen much with us at the mo) That doesn’t happen at rugby. If you don’t believe me then fall on your garden and then get up again thirty-forty times. Then slide on it six or seven times. You’ll see that the slide affects it far more.

thanks pal i’ve ruined my jeans now! you are right the ground is built on marsh land that why its always knackered

Good post, i still dont think Thomas or Diame look threatening enough when they get in opponents half though, i would like to see Watson replace Diame as i believe he is a better passer of a ball and looks like he may score every now and then

there is no bigger advert than being in prem its just that people wont pay £28 minimum for a team they have only just started watching, if the club is serios about getting more locals in keep it cheap every game no mattrer who it is. The gate money isnt huge its the TV money that keeps us going in prem, maybe a few more on would inspire 1 or 2 of the players a little more

there was 4500 everton thats the allocation they got the stand only holds 5000. They should not be charging £28 pound for cheapest adult ticket if they want people from Wigan to start going more often

Just been on SSN that he is signing for a prem league team, rumoured to be Wigan.

It will fall through at the last minute due to whelan refusing to pay for his shower gel.

this the same whelan that has bought every player we have had for the last 15 years!?

    My thoughts?

Against Hull I wondered why he didn’t play every week.

Against Notts I wondered why we’d signed him.

I thought the same but i also think lee hughes is better than any of the hull forwards

Kapo, Cho, Koumas, Kingson, DeRidder, Bouzhan theres 6 who can go now without replacments, may as play kids from reserves who give toss if we win or not

It was – he also mentions that Wigan “attract” a disgraceful 18,463 in the premiership……

I take it he does not mention us being one of the youngest teams in football league with historic near neighbours in Manchester, Liverpool and Lancashire that half of Wigan already support from way back?
