If I were a betting man, I would have a pound or so on Hugo to score on Saturday

Its about time the players showed they cared

3 crucial games against 3 teams below us coming up.

Today was a fine win, no doubt about that. However one win doesn’t cast aside all the recent problems. We need to kick on from here and win at least 2 of these next 3 to really start moving up the table and prove today was not a flash in the pan.

Fulham are running nicely into form so next Saturday will be a very good indicator of where we really are. The players will hopefully take confidence from today, whether they will be playing next week or not :cheer:

GOD willing he will stay injury free and come back to us on loan.

I liked RT. Ok he wasn’t Prem class in open play but his free kicks and corners were a real threat.

Could do with him now :cheer:

Little doubt he killed her intentionally; the prosecution couldn’t prove it.

The sentence is lenient, but her family were happily taking money from Pistorious after the killing.

Working in transport myself, I agree with your sentiments. My cousin’s husband avoided a prison sentence by the skin of his teeth after a collision in his HGV because he “opted” to plead guilty to death by careless driving. He was told he would get 5 years if found guilty of death by dangerous driving.

    Stinks doesn’t it?

What’s to worry about? Two clean sheets, Delorts the new Andy Liddell, Forshaws ‘got it’, Rogers back involved and we have one of the best squads in the league apparently. Am sure in your heart of hearts none of you really expect Dave to sack Uwe. He will give him to the new year at least.

If you’d seen the look on DW’s face at the end I wouldn’t be so sure.

Looks good to me, but I bet Herr Rosler doesn’t think so

Hard to believe Waghorn hasn’t figured recently assuming he has been fit.

Anything other than a (convincing) win tonight and this will be Herr Rosler’s last team sheet….

Sadly I wasn’t the only one speculating about this leaving the ground tonight.

DW was there tonight. FFS when will he put Rosler (and the rest of us) out of our misery?

What does Waghorn have to do to get a game (even as a sub)?

    in reply to: 4-4-2 #134308

No goals at home in about 280 minutes.

Our lot wouldn’t score in a knocking shop at the moment.

Team sheets were handed out on the West concourse about 7.20…we thought it was a misprint!

Good to see him back, let’s hope it can be for more than a month.

Wasn’t long started before the cries of “shoot” came up every time he got the ball

Assuming Roger does move on, who will be the last of the Cup Final starting 11 to play for us?

My bet would be Boycey until he retires (which probably wont be long).

Not sure that playing Chelsea or United gave a tingle (after the first couple of years), knowing we were going to get tonked.

The tingly feelings came back all right after we beat Chelsea….the Mrs thought so anyway

in reply to: MILLWALL TUESDAY #134255
How come they always seem to schedule this fixture on a Tuesday?

Probably because of what happened when we played them Saturday in 2013…after they’d been int pub since opening time.

Maloney and Callum Mc to score tomorrow? They’ll be lucky to be on the bench given the rotational policies of Herr Rosler. Rotational as in going round in circles :S

”No way are we playing there”…..

On hearing the news Liverpool will be playing their home games at Old Trafford for 2 years while Anfield is redeveloped.

I once saw United play a home game at Anfield against Arsenal
We also played a ‘home’ game at Anfield in the 80’s.
For Liverpool’s sake, hopefully when they do start the redevelopment, the work isn’t delayed due to the goal posts being cemented in ;)

    Never forget

I thought Utd played at Maine Road after the War?
