As the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true….

Pollard’s vulturing hands will be in there somewhere :negative:

Caulker is probably now on a Caribbean island sunning himself thinking thank God I’m out of that sh!thole….

I’m not sure what’s going on but if the wages hadn’t of been paid I’m sure one of players agents or stadium staff would have social media released it by now or even Nixon would have the info. FFS that Nixon knows what I’m having for tea tonight the nosey cnut

Kendrick saying as of 20 min ago the wages have not been paid.

The club shop is apparently shut due to “technical difficulties”. Either the staff have (rightly) downed tools or maybe creditors have had the remaining stock seized…
The mind boggles as to what other bills are going unpaid.

There are no words left other than GET THE FECK OUT OF OUR CLUB NOW

    *their* booking on time

in reply to: Silence is not golden #199826

This has gone on far too long. Any member of staff who has not been paid as at 0900 tomorrow (or whatever they’re booking on time is) should refuse to work until they are paid.

We have to take our chance in the shark infested waters. The bridge is being consumed in a raging inferno before our eyes.

If this lot stay, we die 100%.

A “National Treasure” has been exposed as a liar and a cheat tonight, so where does that leave Talal and cronies expecting the benefit of the doubt? :negative:

    Major sponser pulled out toneet.

    The slippery slope.

Looks like it’ll be Irongate (or whatever it’s fancy names is now) for us next season Lostock…

The mother in law lives 5 min walk away so no parking issues… B-)

At 12.00 today the owners took perhaps half a tentative step forward towards regaining trust.

By 13.00 they had taken 4 steps backwards.

What a joke they’ve turned our much loved club into. This cannot go on.

How utterly arrogant, selfish and contemptuous towards their customers and employees to issue that 2nd statement threatening legal action for THEIR failure to honour an agreement THEY had signed up to. Had they kept their side of the agreement in January to deposit the 125% wages this mess would not have happened. Threats of legal action are a sick joke for those who were paid late 5 times.

The EFL have been strangely quiet about any future penalties. I think they are trying to avoid being boxed into a corner over what happens next.

I’d love to know who sanctioned putting out that 2nd statement. It is in a nutshell failing to accept the jurisdiction of the EFL and the disciplinary process and the club and/or owner could well be charged with bringing the game into disrepute or some such charge.

We are in absolute sh!t trouble, if anyone’s still in any doubt about that.

Angry, you bet I am. :negative: :negative:

in reply to: Deadline day today 125% wages account #199715

If the 125% isn’t in the account on time I think -8 points is the least of our worries.

I think they (the EFL) will set a deadline for the money to be put in the account (like 31 May) or we don’t start next season. It really is that serious.

For once, it’s hard to knock the EFL over all this. The extra 3 points being deducted from 22-23 could very well have been put on 23-24 with the other 4 points.

This week will be pivotel and likely not in a good way. Anyone not worried by now isn’t paying attention!

in reply to: L1 kicks off with a bang #199694

We dodged a bullet having 3 points deducted from 22-23 season instead of putting it on 23-24. The EFL will never have a human face, but maybe it’s shown it’s human voice…

AL Jasmi needs to fork out by 24th May or there will be real trouble. Just saying :mail:

Not sure what the score is if the deposit account isn’t funded by 24th May AND the June wage payment isn’t made on time. Will that be 2 lots of -4?

in reply to: Wages not paid again after relegation #199671

The club statement says “the EFL has visibility of this amount”

As per Mr B above, we’re none the wiser whether the EFL have accepted it. We’re not much further forward until we hear from the EFL about further penalties and/or restrictions.

in reply to: Where Do We Stand with Season Ticket Renewals #199654

I read a comment “elsewhere” that 2000 have been sold so far. (7000 last season total?). I suspect the number sold since last Friday could be counted on one hand. Reported that some have asked for their money back since.

FWIW I bought mine on 29th April, just before relegation was officially confirmed. Paid in full by credit card.
If I hadn’t bought it before 5th May, I wouldn’t have bought it at all until the club’s future is clearer.

Sad times. What’s far worse is it’s largely self-inflicted by the owner and his puppet.

Early bird prices now extended to the end of May!

    Sales obviously not booming….
