Just returned home from our morning walk. Saw the postman walking round the estate so knew he’d been.
Opened the door, looked down anxiously at the mat and…
Seriously though, send them out earlier next year FFS
“Get them to e mail it to you for this ONE game .. they’ve been inundated ,, make of that what you will ..01942 311111 !”
They should be emailing every season ticket holder tomorrow regardless. I won’t be happy at all if I have to spend 1 hour plus on the blower tomorrow listening to Lord knows what awful music to request an e-ticket.
The ticket office, allegedly, would have been even busier in the last couple of weeks had it not been for the efforts of our good friends at Hullking Stan Rovers
Arrived about 11:30 am today, with Wigan Athletic / ticket office plastered on the envelope.
Hardly discreet and maybe a temptation to any light fingered scally on the postal journey; or do people not touch the envelopes these days ?Who’s going to nick one of our ST’s?
Just got home after a day out. Opened the door in eager anticipation of seeing the envelope on the doormat.
Nothing again….
Nothing again today….
Heard elsewhere ST’s were “all” sent out on Monday so starting to get concerned
Post been and gone…nothing again today
Nope nothing here either. Post already been this morning.
Received my car park season ticket about 2 weeks ago.
Saw a post on Facebook yesterday saying the ticket office had said they’re being sent by the contractor and should be with us “by Thursday”. Can’t vouch for that!
Good job we weren’t home on the first day of the season.

Great to see the back of Al Jasmi as well
Have we heard anything from the EFL yet whether we will face further punishment for the 2nd June late wages payment?
Fingers cross they will take the pragmatic approach that now the club has been sold and (we pray) put on a sustainable financial footing, it would be petty and vindictive to apply another points deduction in addition to the -8.
Then again, this is the EFL we’re talking about….
Just seen the news. Thank goodness for that.
Obviously going to be a tough season adjusting to the new reality, but so relieved we will have a club to support
People are focussing on the winding up hearing date of 26th July.
The sh!t is going to hit the fan a lot sooner…have a read of this and be very worried –
The reason HMRC are taking a tough line with us is the owners twice showed HMRC “proof” they had the funds available to settle the tax bills at any moment. That’s what Markham/Gottman published in their resignation statement.
Failing to pay the tax due puts the owners in the “deliberate defaulter” category with HMRC and a different level of response from HMRC.
If Talal and cronies didn’t actually have the money available, more fool them for lying to the taxman. That never ends well.
Winding up petition filed at High Court by HMRC according to Nixon
I thought the EFL had been worryingly quiet towards us recently.
I would have said last one out switch off the lights, but at this rate the leccy will have been cut off by then.
Let’s face it, we’re somewhere between Kerry Packered and fooked, and that’s being optimistic.
I’ve feared for some time that the real reason Talal won’t put Phoenix into administration is his fear of what the administrators will discover around the running of the business over the last 12-18 months.
