Julius Agahowha might compete for that shirt with Fletcher

Hardest position (No 9) to fill in any squad. But not for the Tics because we don’t use them; and if we sign Haaland it wouldn’t be any different because we still wouldn’t pass to him.

Yeah, returned home in a sombre mood. It was hardly a convincing win and if we don’t improve it is definitely going to be a long, long season. Let’s see what happens before 23:00 hours on Friday night; and let’s hope it’s not more out than in !
Our back four looked steady enough for this division and Kai Payne looked to be a good prospect; the remainder were not good enough for the long slog that is in front of us

As for the club; why is it that there appears to be a high turn over of general staff, i.e. groundsmen, admin & facilities management. Not a happy ship, is it !

Okay, I’ll be heading into today’s game with a positive & hopeful mindset that this will be the turning point. I expect us to show a positive & progressive game from the off and to maintain it for 96 minutes. Ten minutes of desperate positivity at the end won’t cut the mustard. Mind you, if the game takes that format; then the crowd are going to be restless if they are still in their seats.

This Saturday could prove to be a turning point.
This is a must win game (as somebody else has already pointed out) and so Shaun has to throw caution to the wind; a bit like 11th May 2013. Nothing but an emphatic win on Saturday will see the fans restless :negative: :negative: :negative:

Like CW, I have noticed Shaun’s body language regress since the start of the season; to the point where he just rubs his chin and hardly looks at the camera in post match interviews. If he walks, then I would invite:
David Lowe, Ryan Lowe (Plymouth played attractive football during his reign), Jamie Carragher !

Maybe Barrow read the writing on the wall, but SM refused to believe his wisdom.

And now that the cat is out of the bag regarding pitiful contract release thresholds, Plymouth are making a move for Tickle.
    This club never learns.
Definitely a must win, must batter Crawley game on Saturday; otherwise the fans will walk (season ticket or no season ticket !).

Apparently Fleetwood are playing well, under the guidance of Charlie Adam and playing two up front !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two up front; well I never !!!!!!!!!!
    Sounds like proper football !!!!!!!!!

SM needs to wobble his head and forget emulating Barca & Real Madrid; we are in League 1 FFS.

Listening to SMs post match interview, he wasn’t exactly up beat about support from above; it was more a case of I hope so :negative: :negative: :negative:

Like Phoenix says “the jury is well and truly out” !

The shrinking 7 million, is now 3.5 million according to reports.
Typical Latics, grab the first offer; rather than hold their nerve and stoke up interest with bigger & more attractive clubs. We must be desperate to pay Danson his pocket money back

    It’s ludicrous.
I saved at least £13 (fuel & parking) by watching from home last night. Add another tenner to that if I’d risked a pie & pint at the ground. However, if our football was scintillating I would have dragged myself to the game.
Our commercial team need wise up to the fact that their strategy is not working, especially when the “die hards” fail to turn out.

Who sets the car park fees ? Not too many seasons ago the South car park was free ! Six quid for 2 -3 hours is OTT. Its not as if the car park is well maintained. They need to reduce the fees to a minimum so that the basic operating costs (a few traffic marshals) for the match are re-covered.

I’ve just spotted the ticket price for the Crawley game. Twenty eight smackers !!!
It’s a good job that I renewed my ST, otherwise that would be another no show for me.
