Nine games GL !
At least we will have nine games to see what type of game Graham intends adopt; so he will either surprise or disappoint. Let’s wait until we cross the finishing line and give him and the team the encouragement that they need.

That lad will be off, come the summer window.I’d be shocked if his contract was so inadequate that it entitled him to full compensation in the event that his dismissal was based on poor results ( which are there for everyone to see ). If that is the case, the club needs a new Contracts Manager !
I voted to keep him (for now). I remember what happened last time we sacked two managers in the same season, and arguably that time we had a squad that should have been nowhere near the bottom 3.This time we have a squad that was largely assembled when we were 3rd tier. Sure, we’ve added to it, but we have added players that other 2nd & 3rd division clubs didn’t really want. We signed Bogle, who was playing non-league football last season. In essence, we have a shit squad, and in all reality, we are going down with or without Joyce.
My prime reason for not sacking him now is financial. Assuming we are going down, and assuming that he will be taking a relegation pay cut like the rest of the squad, then I think he should be given until Nov/Dec of next season to show that with 12 months and two transfer windows under his belt, he can bring us back up and keep us up. If come November we are not around the top 6, then he gets the bullet, but it would be 2.5 years of lower wages as compo rather than 3 years of his current salary.
As the poster above quite rightly says, just because some supporters don’t agree with everything you say doesn’t make them a bellend – a very Orwell-esque point of view!

Like someone else posted; we have had a run of games in recent weeks that all looked to be must win games; that were technically winnable. He failed miserably, as a result of not adopting a winning and attack minded strategy. Now we are faced with the final nine games, that look to be a much sterner test. Only a miracle would get us through these games with the end result being survival. Thus, nothing to lose by appointing an interim Manager to salvage what we can.
On the financial front: we have to take a late gamble at staying up, because going down will result in lower gate receipts, lower crowds, fewer season tickets,no television revenue, fire sale of our better players at knock down bids, etc.
We need a clean slate, new manager, new backroom staff and huge squad clearing. Every new manager we’ve signed of late must be met with the backroom staff saying, “Errrrr, awreet pal, this is how we do it at Wigan, look and learn”. We need a full overall and a breath fresh air blowing into all parts of the club.I never thought Coyle could be topped as the No1 worse tics manager of all time but step on up to the podium Joyce the trophies all yours to keep for life.
