Saturday’s win over Huddersfield has lifted us into the top 10 in the league and … we have a big opportunity to close the gap between ourselves and the playoffs which currently stands at just 4 points (we also have a game in hand) which is a better position than some of our performances deserve.

Some of our performances may not have not been great, but most games have been quite entertaining overall, with plenty of action. Performances may, from time to time have been a little less technical and more industrial but it’s like a breath of fresh air after the boring dross of sideways and backward passing of the last few seasons.
No matter how poor you think we may have been I haven’t seen a team who looks that much better than us.

Griff, I would guess having witnessed their support that both Horc and Alasdair are far more animated than you on match days when it comes to getting behind the team ! Just saying !Me and HORC have always given our utmost vocal support to the Latics. Afterall, we are the original two man Kop.
