It was obvious 500 + coaches plus cars and mini buses heading back to the north west would result in gridlock at the smallest mishap.
We left Wembley coach park about 8:30 – 8.45 pm, spent some time in traffic getting onto the A40 then M40, the rest was plain sailing all the way home, we had 30 mins at Frankley services on the M5 and I was opening my front door in Orrell at 1:03 am.

First of all Congratulations on the FA Cup success. After many years of dud FA cup finals, Saturday finally put the magic back in the FA Cup. I have joined your forum because I am a Tottenham fan who would really like to get my hands on a ticket to come and support wigan against arsenal tomorrow (from the wigan end of course!). Sadly the club won’t let me buy a ticket because I have no previous booking history with Wigan. I wondered if any of you might be able to help out a fellow football fan if you have previous booking history with the club that I could utilize to get my hands on a ticket. I’m not asking anybody to pay for tickets. I just need to find a bona fide Wigan fan with ticket purchase history at the club, and I will make all the transactions.I can assure you I will be singing my heart out for Wigan tomorrow whether I get my hands on a ticket for the game or not.
