To be fair, it would have been quiet on here if LHL hadn’t started this thread.
It has certainley been the thread of the season and will probably keep running for a while yet such is the feeling both ways for RM.

Do you not think shite like this is why it has been quiet on here.

It was a very important midweek programme – for Premier League clubs, that is. The results could well have a significant influence on league positions at the end of the season.

Some of us still take an interest in the Premier League. I’d say the results are worthy of a mention here – or are comments to be limited to just one aspect of sport within the borough?

As I said in an earlier post there are plenty of Everton message boards, they will be more than happy on having a new member with such a broad Everton/Martinez knowledge, why not try them out.

To be honest the ‘lightside’ and ‘darksiders’ are probably more united than in the last four years on Martinez, he is HISTORY and we all wish him well in his new career.

He has moved on so why don’t you.

No one needs to check with me, whereas you seem to think everyone needs to check with you before posting their opinion on griffs world

loudmouthblue2 – do you disagree with loudmouthblue?
Can you explain in what context you have used that?

It makes about as much sense as this thread about Martinez, one that you seem to want to continue because it seems you have fuck all else of worth to say.

Everton cannot compete with the enormous squads of Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham, or even Arsenal and Liverpool. Liverpool’s annual wage bill is £126 million – more than double that of Everton at £65 million.

Just like last season, Martinez has been hit by injuries to his centre halves. Distin, Jagielka and Alcaraz are all carrying injuries. Oviedo broke his leg last week, and Coleman was missing too last night. The patched up defence could not withstand Liverpool’s in-form attack.

Barkley could only play after having an injection. To cap it all, Lukaku was carried off after a collision with Barry and faces a lengthy absence,

So it looks as though the last Champions League place will be fought over by Liverpool, Tottenham and perhaps a revitalised Manchester United. Tottenham face Manchester City in a big game tonight.

Why don’t you feck off over to an Everton message board to continue with this tedious drivel, you are obviously an Everton fan as you seem to know so much about them.
Martinez, his backroom staff Alcaraz, Kone, McCarthy no longer have any connection with WAFC we wish them all well in their new venture now they have MOVED ON, perhaps now it is time for all you childish arseholes to move on as well.

Why loudmouthblue and loudmouthblue 2 what’s going on fella ?

Nothing sinister, I don’t know if you have noticed or not but there are issues with registering or retrieving forgotten passwords on this board at the moment.
I bought a new laptop and could not remember my original ‘loudmouth’ password so jayt looked this one up from when the old server crashed(loudmouthblue2) which allows me access on here, if I post on my original a/c I am on my iphone, which has my username/old password saved in its memory and keeps me signed in.
ta very glad that clears that up then
No problem
That’s what you think!

You’re doing absolutely nothing to disprove the theory that you’re nothing more than a typical no-mark, tight-arsed rubgy fan who will only put himself out if it’s a freebie.

So, I’m pretty much similar to the 18,000+ Wembley attendees that failed to show up on Saturday then – the main difference being I have the honesty to admit I wouldn’t pay for a ticket under any circumstances.

I may be a “typical no-mark, tight-arsed rugby fan who will only put himself out if it’s a freebie”, but I’m not a hypocrite.
Yes you are. You only ever criticise one club for having lower attendances at lower profile games even though the same situation applies to the two teams you support these days.
Seconded.

I’ve set the stopwatch in anticipation of Mutty’s response.
I think it may be an atomic clock you need in this instance, he seems to become ‘muteywhitedog’ when ever he is presented with the real facts.

We’ll always disagree on Ramis (memories of last season – LHS, RHS etc.. as we all know football’s game of opinions.

As regards the three who went to Everton, let’s not forget there’s no reason why RM couldn’t come back for Ivan if he were so good (Heitinga, after all, may be on his way out …) Alcaraz also hasn’t been without his injuries (injured now ??). Unfortunately, last year to our detriment …

Let’s not forget not also Palacios (Spurs, Stoke) and Rodallega (Fulham) who went to decent (top 10) teams (re. comment above …. 2 EPL teams (this year YES, next year ???)

Re. Centre Backs – one I do like – Barnett – committed, decent, rarely has an off day / drops an obvious b@llock; one of OC’s better buys (600k, VFM …)

Was you trained at Bletchley ?
Oh, the irony of someone pulling up someone grammar whilst simultaneously using incorrect grammar!

He does writespeak in an unusual manner, but we all know what he’s trying to say. Nobody’s had a fecking clue what you’ve been on about for years! ;)
What has grammar got to do with what I posted, I indicated it was some form of code, then you go on to say the same thing in the part I highlighted.

You really are an arrogant vindictive bully and your nasty responses to those you take issue with has stopped any serious debate on this board, you seem to suffer from some form of a superiority complex, a true keyboard warrior and as a result you are solely responsible for the demise of this board and the reason why nobody ever posts and even less bother to read it any more.

in reply to: Josh McEachran #126273

Josh McEachran should feel at home at the DW, I have a couple of mates who are Watford fans and it seems he has got plenty of stick this season, many accusing Zola of only playing him because of his Chelsea connections.

He was not very highly rated by them leading my mate to saying “he looked frightened to even pass a ball in the end but it must have affected the lads confidence when half the crowd are barracking his every touch and cheering when he gets substituted.

Don’t worry Gomez will show him the ropes.

But I do love good football – and we haven’t seen much since the Cup Final.

To be fair it was only seen on rare occasions prior to the cup final.
Martinez set out to play good football. To be fair, with his squad, it was not sufficient to overcome enough Premier League teams. But I don’t think that another style would have been any more successful.

The cup run was a glorious exception. Martinez produced a startling performance in the Cup Final from the rag-bag of players at his disposal. They were then obviously at an enormous disadvantage in the crucial Premier League game against Arsenal.

But would you have swapped survival for winning the cup? Would you have been happier if Martinez had left us for Liverpool twelve months earlier? Or for Aston Villa a year before that?

Anyway, he’s now showing that his philosophy can produce attractive and successful football. But from Sunday’s performance, it seems that the team still has his philosophy at heart.

Best wishes for Christmas and a good run in the New Year.
No one can dispute Martinez’s first 6 months at Everton haven’t been successful and good luck to him, but he is not our manager any more so why don’t you all leave it at that and move on.

    Carragher’s view

Not sure who I should listen to. Respected ex-professional pundit or a bunch of know-nowts from Preston ;)

Let me help you with your dilemma, in the past you have only ever listened to anyone who sings from the same hymn sheet as youself, irrespective of whether or not they are “respected ex-professional pundits” or “know-nowts from Preston”
The day I need your help for anything is the day I pack it all in ;)

All your travel agent work over and done with now? Back to the day job of being a gobshite now, is it?
Being a “gobshite” may be my day job, I am able to step in and out of that mode when it suits, I find that way far superior than it being a life mission statement as in your case.
