Two great goals? What about the blatant foul on Byrne for the second. To make it worse though if the ref didn’t think that was a foul how on earth Did he think ours was a free kick for the equaliser?
Evened itself up in the end. Thought a draw was a fair result but there front three deffo a bigger threat than our front four. Graham, Armstrong and Dack don’t half complement each other well to be fair.
That wasn’t a foul from Dack on Byrne in the build up to their 2nd goal – if anything Byrne fouled Dack initially by blocking Dack’s run when he flicked the ball up, before the 2 of them got involved in a grappling match. They were both still grabbing at each other’s shirts & pulling before Dack was the stronger of the 2 & was able to push him loose
As a ref if both players are grappling with each other at the same time then just coz one might wind up on the deck doesn’t make it a foul against them. If one lets go first then fair enough but in this instance they were both fouling each other at the same time so you can’t give one & not the other. Unless like I said earlier you pull Byrne up for the initial blocking foul
i can’t remember the foul that led to Power’s free kick to comment on it
As a ref I take your view on board but still reckon 8 out 10 give us a free kick there.

It was a great win considering the changes and key players missing. Rochdale certainly not a poor team think they’ll be ok with there games in hand.
The performance was what you’d expect from players who haven’t played much.
Daniels and Fulton did ok but were dead on there feet at the end.
Walker looked promising but need much more from Coco. Disappointing again.
Vaughn put a great shift in can’t fault his effort.
Hopefully have the A team back for Bristol. Certainly needed for Blackburn.
Never thought that winning the cup could be beaten but that has just come very close to matching it. Arguably a bigger achievement than the cup winners for this league one team to beat the billionaires.

16000 is the official announcement butvtherell be a lot more on
Superb. Away with the wife that weekend would have been an expensive ticket through the divorce courts.
Horrible feeling with Cole in that’s Powell gone
Recalled Daniels, hope one of our center halves isn’t off!Cover at right back I reckon
Pathetic. No excuses. Why? Byrne Burn James Jacobs and Powell all played in most games. The latter two looking jaded and fully expected them to sit it out. If we had a bigger squad a few more would have joined them. Bournemouth have made ten changes btw
That’s my point he does nothing hence why I dont rate him
Jacobs is below par?
Thought he had an excellent game with lots of effort and skill – his final decision making let him down.
And did you see that run near the end?
If that’s someone who is below par then I hope we keep on being below par.Agree. He ran himself into the ground. His biggest problem is that he doesn’t have a left foot. Mind you, if he did, he wouldn’t be playing for Wigan Athletic.
Just needs to improve his end product. Can’t fault him on effort.
But surely the end product makes the player? All huff and puff or this and that without an end product is not good enough surely? An analogy. It’s like a master chef prepping and then producing a really good meal but not serving it up on a plate for the punters to enjoy! His shot into row Z of the South Stand was probably a hint to us why he doesn’t pull the trigger too often ;)
Jacobs final decision making always lets him down.
Fair to say Jacobs had one of his better games yesterday, effort wise. But he’s still bang average. Jacobs has no end product and too often in games he goes missing.
Personally, think he’s as bad as Massey but Massey doesn’t go missing which makes him more noticeable.
Funny how we all watch the same game but see it so different. I think it’s the other way around. The game passes Massey by and he totally goes missing.

If that’s someone who is below par then I hope we keep on being below par.Compared to his first half to the season yes he’s below par. That run at the end was superb but that’s just one run. You can’t fault his effort and he’s still when below par miles better than Massey.
