Of course I’m made up with a win but we weren’t good.As previous poster stated a better side would have mullered us again. As for the striker issue our forwards have scored around 4 or 5 goals between them all season. Blackburn who are around 10th in the league have 2 with 37 between them. Playing no striker’s in the last 3 games will see us down.
Yep as playing two strikers has been working hasn’t it?
Well we did ask if were going down to go down fighting but I think its been lost in translation.. What a bunch of complete numpties!
Fortune needs a strike partner like at Blackpool and like at Norwich. He works his stones off just like McDirty. Problem is the Republican is a winger not striker and we have two strikers out on loan and two on the bench who should have been upfront with Fortune.
So is it Fortunes fault he didn’t have a strike partner today? Course it is, let’s get on his back for McKay not playing Waghorn or Billy Mac up front. The chances missed today didn’t all fall to MAF but still it’s he’s fault we lost.
You’ve just nailed the point there JR. .. The chances never fall to Fortune because he’s never in position to get them. As the main striker that’s his role,a good striker can anticipate a chance, he just stands there hoping.. Not good enough.. I do actually believe we look a better team with him in it by the way.
Oh well!! I’m claiming a 2 1 win… Feckin liners
Yes Bournemouth were better than us but we were in the game until that incompetent twonk couldn’t spot a fella 5 yds offside for Christ’s sake. May have still lost but you need the breaks and we ain’t getting thwm
For me today there was plenty of effort, unfortunately with zilch quality
Have some pride and resign, it’s clear that the players don’t wanna play for you !
Hes already been sacked, why is nobody listening to me. My mate is in the sponsors lounge and it has been leaked in there. :woohoo:
How Many has he had?
Aye but seen him do something that I’ve not seen fortune do though
No thanksTongue in cheek mate, makes grant holt look anorexic
A 6 week ban from all footballing activity, presumably that includes watching it. I’d appeal about the leniency if I was him
He certainly affected the game I will give you that
Where is the option of win the league?
But it was the manager who played a consistently shite left sided midfielder as a lone striker. Also a right sided midfielder on the left. Started with no strikers on the field. Started with seven midfielders. Played Boycey in central defence where he couldn’t link up or overlap with Callum on the right. Played Maloney somewhere in midfield but not behind the makeshift striker.
However he got the substitutes about right and our shit strikers actually looked a little sharper and got into goal missing positions.
However I think it is time now for Dave Whelan to take a share of the blame for this unfolding disaster BUT the majority of blame should lay on the shoulders of some bone idle, un-professional, lazy, arrogant, overrated, underworked, players.
Malky certainly has his work on with this squad of below average journeymen who are simply not good enough but think they are.Absolutely spot on
”False 9″Played with a false number 9 all season – He’s called Fortune ;)
Managers making football too complicated again. Put your best players out in there best positions and you never know. To play that none goalscoring left winger with no final product as the centre forward beggars belief.
But what do I know?
Two more for the reserves…should get him 5 mins SaturdayIt was a feckin tongue in cheek post and would you believe it – He gets 4 minutes
