Poyet for me, the guy come’s across similar to Martinez and will be hungry to do well and use us as a “stepping stone”, which seems to be the norm for everyone that come’s through the glass doors.For those shouting for poyet how much have Brighton have you seen, my view was they was lik us in the bad old 433 days and overpased it more than we did, also he refuses to chalnge even when hey starting to slide down the table, comes across as a bit of an odd ball to me not sure wheel an would get on with him.
Don’t forget Bruce comfortably kept us up when in charge, judas yes money grabber yes but also good manager. Big mick would be my other option.
I’m with retiredfan on this one.Faubert can add some much needed competition to that right side, especially after it seems that Stam is getting shoe-horned out of the club.
As much as i love Boycey and all he has done for us, i think it will be next season where we see a slight decline in his performances.
Faubert (although another sulky Frenchmon) was not so long ago deemed good enough to play for Real Madrid and comes on a free. Fits the bill well i feel.
And i agree with your comment on his crossing ability. I seem to remember him whipping in an absolute peach at Upton Park not that long ago against us, from which i think Guillermo Franco dipped his bread. I could be wrong on that though?
Your anticipating a slight decline in boyceys performance, whatever is that based on, plying as well as ever for me if not his best footy whilst he’s been here, and a slight decline would still equate to miles better than some others
