The bit I didnt get was that we were getting some joy with the width in the 1st half, so tactical genius MArtinez puts Charlie just behind Hugo, totally negating him, then as you say takes Moses off (was he shattered, not sure?)
TalksSport reckon that opta stats say we score 1 goal for every 14 shots. Henandez has scored 8 goals from 14 shots. Mr Arkwright think this rests your case.
No Diame for me, personally like Watson, think he gives his all, admittedly gives the ball away a bit too much and his delivery not always the best but has got a goal in him for sure.
There used to be an old fashioned policy in football that if you played well and the team was winning then you kept your place. Spot on post. I am of the grey variety but getting darker by the game. My biggest gripe is Martinez inability to change. I thought we did OK against Villa, don’t forget Bent cost more than our entire team, but his substitutions left me seething. Right back and defensive midfielder off (Good Idea) BUT bring on a right back and defensive midfielder and play exactly the same formation, then leave Moses on the bench (If he wasn’t ready he shouldnt have been there) and finally brings Macmanaman on with 3 mins left. SPEECHLESS!!
If Thomas and Diame start volunteers to drag them off please. They have both been dreadful for weeks now but still start, personally would go with this 4-4-2 formation but Ive more chance of getting 6 lotto numbers up
