Maybe as the Outside Broadcast Unit was in the area, they chose to park them up at the DW for Wed rather than drive them goodness knows where.

One things for sure – Sky wouldnt send a fleet of TV trucks to cover the signing of Bolton’s 3rd choice goalkeeper.

Thats good news – you could have ended up with a one-season mercenery like Mark Hughes as a stop-gap boss.

If the manager & chairman are preaching a long-term plan, then it may help in your efforts to keep the players who kept you up.

I agree rugby league is boring, and it seems the rest of the world agrees with me has nobody has heard of rugby league or watches it!

Despite your best efforts to bring it to the world’s attention by continually starting threads on the subject. (Apart from when they win a trophy, when you are as quiet as a church mouse). This is the 12th thread you have personally started on the subject of Rugby League.

              Talk about obsessed…..

Remind me – how much did your average attendance drop by again last season, and do you think you’ll be averaging sub-15K next season?

10th is higher than 16th, so I think you are talking out of your arse.

N’zogbia will be sold before the end of August, and the longer it drags on, the cheaper he will become. Whelan will not let him walk away for free next summer.

I have read this thread with interest and find it surprising how many fans either:

                        a. Live nearer to another ground.
                        b. Live outside the borough of Wigan.

I seem to remember a few threads passing comment on the number of out-of-town fans of Wigan Warriors.

He’ll leave because he has professional ambitions which are a bit higher than securing survival at 5.50pm on the final day of the season.

That was last years ambition you egg chasing moron. bobby has already announced next years ambitions……EUROPE!!
N’zog will sign for someone else for about £5 million sometime in late July or early August. With 1 year on his contract, his re-sale value will have plummeted from the £8-9 million a year ago.

He’ll leave because he has professional ambitions which are a bit higher than securing survival at 5.50pm on the final day of the season.

I’ll add my congratulations to the true supporters of the club who must have gone through the mill in the last 180 minutes of watching Wigan.

And the £50 I put on Wigan to stay up at 5-2 prior to the Blackpool game has just netted me a nice little sum!

                              Enjoy the off season fellas!

My mate went to the rugby forumn last week and there chairman said it would be a bad thing for them if we went down because of the up keep of the stadium

The upkeep of the stadium is down to the landlord – I am still uncertain who actually is the owner of the Stadium as the transfer from Whelco to WAFC never seems to be announced as a done deal.

That said, Mr Leneghan, whilst saying it would be a bad thing in public, must be thanking his lucky stars that he has a lease with a rental figure on it that is legally binding.

If relegation is forthcoming, I would expect DW to be handing over the stadium to WAFC pretty quickly – after all, he’s already sp*nked £100 million of his fortune – the last thing he’ll want in his old age is the continued upkeep of the stadium if it is hosting the likes of Barnsley & Brighton, rather than Man Utd & Arsenal.

                                  No.

As much as I’d like a 7th season, I feel that Wolves’ win last week has given them the momentum to get at least 4 pts and probably 6 from their last 2 games.

Playing tomorrow could be a huge advantage for both sides. On the flip side, if Wolves, Blackpool & Blackburn all pick up 3 pts today, it could be the biggest Wake seen in Wigan.

yes or no answer only?
I note you failed to answer the question totally. Are you Lisa Nandy in disguise?
