Im surprised someone from round here actually supports united, 99% of their fan base is from japan and london
and Beech Hill, but not according to the WEP. :orcs-buttshake:
A very twitchy arse, particularly until mid April.
I dare any Wigan fan to give up biting their fingernails for Lent!
I wonder if it will be discussed on Talksport’s daytime show with their new presenters Monkey Boy and Haggis McSporran.
N’zog will leave in the summer – to be honest I’m surprised he didnt leave in January.
Al-Habsi will be sold to whoever pays Bolton the most for him – I’m sure its not just in Wigan that his performances have been noted. I cant see them loaning him out for another year.
The rest will still be there next season – lets face it, there was no stampede to buy any of them last month. For the up and coming players, they should stay because they wont get as many first team opportunities elsewhere. For the likes of Hugo, he’ll stay because he’ll not get a pay packet like this anywhere else (and he’s not that good either!).
That family must be so thick. Their only purchase history seems to be:
Wigan v Man Utd 2007/8
Wigan v Man Utd 2008/9
Wigan v Man Utd 2009/10and they wonder why the club wont sell them a ticket. If they’d had half a braincell between them, one of the family would have attended one of the numerous games recently which have been almost free at which point the ticket office would have been almost begging them to buy a Man U ticket!
After the Chelsea game, the run-in isnt that bad with games against Blackpool, Sunderland, Everton, West Ham & Stoke.
Its likely that 3 of the last 4 games will be against sides who will be safe in mid table and points should therefore be easier to come by. My concern is that by 5pm on the day of the Blackpool game, the points tally has still not reached 31, as its looking increasingly likely that 40 points may be needed to stay up this season.
Despite all the money supposedly spent the pitch looked a right mess yesterday. The bad news is there’s only one football fixture and no rugby fixtures before the Man Utd game. That means the pitch wont be completely shredded by the time Fergie’s boys come to town, which could be a bad thing – maybe DW could arrange some local polo club to come and train on it all week so that it resembles a ploughed field come kick-off time. I reckon Berbatov, Nani & co might not fancy it as much then!
Any idea if they’ll be doing £10 tickets for this one?
Its a vile sport and if it were being played in my back garden, I’d draw the curtains.
5 points gained from losing positions.
And the improvement in performances over the last few games -albeit with nothing to show for it – have not changed that view.I would compare the improvement in performance to the last twitching of a dying fly. The tough games coming up will mean the last 3 games of the season (which are winnable), will be an irrelevence.
Who was the Chairman when the collections were made to help pay for covered terracing at the Springfield end?
And what happened to the money? Clearly it never went on covering the terracing.
Hopefully the attendance for the replay will top the pitiful 14,000 that bothered to show up yesterday. The last thing needed is for the Bolton fans to travel in larger numbers, and point and laugh at empty home seats that have been up for sale – then they’d have a point!
Yes I know him, it was Niall Quinn the Sunderland chairmon, he’s never liked Bobby that mon.
To be fair I’ve heard that not sure why though, maybe he only got Bruce because he couldn’t get Martinez?
He only got Gyan because he couldn’t get Boselli as well apparently.[/quote]
I heard he only got Muntari & Sessegnon because he couldnt get Jordez & Stam.
A horrible man, the sort that is not wanted in my town.
