I’d rather have Ant & Dec playing up front than Vaughan. Anyone who goes cupping his ear to the fans after scoring his first goal in dozens of games from no more than a yard out is a grade A bellend.
Agree. Had a few good games in that latter half of the season, but I stand by my “won’t make a PL player as long as he has a hole in his arse” comment.He’s currently demonstrating that he “wont make a bottom of the championship player as long as he has a hole in his arse”.
The roads over here in South Lincolnshire are pretty poor, with potholes a plenty. Maintaining roads and cutting back overhanging trees are not seen as a priority to our local politicians who are elected by the types who drive tractors or 4×4. But there’s always funding for an indoor bowls and bridge centre for the blue rinse brigade who drive there in their mercs, audis and 4x4s.
The fact that Bournemouth play on the Sunday is largely irrelevant as the 11 that play on Sunday will not be the same that play on Wed.

Cricket is all about handling pressure. Even in the West Lancs League, tand the NW Norfolk League where I played for around 20 years, the teams I played for applied pressure when we were on top and guts when were under the cosh. Most of the time it came off. “Five out, all out” was what us bowlers used to say, and our skipper bought into it. No7 onwards would have a tight field surrounding him, and we’d generally roll the last 5 over for around 20, because they would try and slog over the top, unable to handle the pressure.
PS – I see the Homophobe has been banned again. Did someone let him back by accident?
Rekon Shrews or Rovers could nail us for top spot come xmas……With one game before Christmas and a 4 point advantage over 2nd place, can you explain your theory?
