We should not fear Bolton in anyway, they haven’t won away for 2 months
Aye, home banker, this one….
…..except you havent won at home for 16 games and almost 7 months.
Nah, dont have enough fingers for that. In fact, I could line the entire population of the village where I live and there still wouldnt be enough fingers.
I’ll console myself by seeing which gets a home win first. Remind me. How many games start has your fine upstanding role-model manager been given?
They were at spelling school with you.

0-4 you only lost 0-4 you only lost 0-4 you only lost 0-4How thick do you have to be to come on here slagging my club off when your own team is a fooking joke?
POT
KETTLE
BLACKDid you actually go yesterday? – Some of your posts were made pretty close to the end of the game…
How many would be daft enough to buy such a venture if there was no passing trade?
Unless of course a rich relative wanted to spend a few quid to offset his tax bill….
On the day of a game that will go a long way to defining the future of Wigan Athletic and you start a thread on rugby crowds…..

It’s them group on tickets they work wonders :silly: :silly:As opposed to free ones?
How are the spelling lessons going?

Ah, the illiterate one is back.
Learned how to spell your former Chairman’s surname yet, or are we still getting stuck on Cat, Mat, Rat?
12448. With about 200 away fans.
That’s 2384 more than watched you lot slump to (yet) another home defeat against Huddersfield Town and their 1500+ away fans that day.
Hope you enjoy seeing a packed away end again today, as there wont be many next season.
I would have thought that someone who (claims) to have followed Wigan throughout this chairman’s 20 year reign would know how to spell his bloody surname.
Still according to the official site over 2000 die hards making the trip though which aint bad consideringIts a 40 mile trip to Blackpool FFS.
You make it sound like a pilgrimage to Mecca.
Facts are that a lot of the crowd are showing up for the tripe on offer because they bought their ST on the back of a relatively successful campaign last season. Now, if you could take off your Arsene-Wenger Rose-Tinted specs for a moment and consider the following:
Even if you stay up, what is there to persuade people to shell out for a ST next season?
(GL – As an HR Bod, think “Employee Engagement”, and exactly how long a company can rely on blind loyalty from its workforce whilst shafting them with T&C)
A lot of people renewed their ST for this season on the back of a narrow play-off exit and an FA Cup semi-final defeat after a magnificent defence of the trophy. Even so, average crowds this season have slipped almost 20% to 12410 from last seasons’ 15176.
Even if you do stay up, what is there to persuade them to renew for next season?
Why don’t they just say they will be watching City v Barcelona on the box.
I’m very tempted to stay at home and do that! ;)
Did you get the best of both worlds in the end?
I believe he is implying that the warriors include all ST holders on attendances. Maybe they do for league games, but in the grand scheme of things, how many ST holders don’t show up for fixtures? Possibly a couple of hundred or so – certainly not the thousands he claim. The difference between stating the attendance for a game was 12,500 when only 12,300 showed up is hardly earth-shattering.
However, as the WCC didn’t include free entry for ST holders, I fail to see the relevance of his post.
Fat boy – I’d concern yourself more about your missing 10,000 game after game rather than the 200 who couldn’t make one or two rugby games a season.
they sell there tickets by groupon just check 2 for twenty
That not similar to the 3 games for £30 offers that the Latics use?
Of course not! :woohoo:
One is “good marketing” and the other is “desperation”. ;)
