Hope martinez gets bored first, 10 goals all season in prem lowest in all 4 leagues, now thats negative, take your tinted glasses offIf the club were refusing thousands every week because of the database then they would change the policy. The fact that they have stuck by it suggests that they aren’t.im not talking about 1000s even making it hard for a few hundred would be terrible, not long ago in the carling cup against preston we couldnt get in because the turnstile ran out of tickets, we had to wait for more to be printed missing the first ten mins, that sort of thing is very amatuer, lastly the club is doing a great job but lets itself and the fans down with the ticket policy.
How i see it no-one should get refused a ticket, we are not in the position to do that, and why do we advertise on rock fm for games, if people hear it from outside of wigan they wont be able to get a ticket, if not on data base, another scenerio if someone from skem wants to watch us against liverpool for example but doesnt support liverpool but wants to watch a cheap game of football, He wont get a ticket, so for me the club aint doing enough on that side of things,
The database is only in use when it is local teams we are playing. If anybody tries to get a ticket for Latics v west Brom, they will get it as long as their post code is in the North West.It is also fair to point out that the database has names stored for anybody who has had a season ticket or bought a ticket in the last 6 years….. which speaks volumes for those that say they can’t get a Liverpool ticket because they are not on the database.
and what if someone just wants to watch a wigan and man u game as a neutral, answer cant get a ticket.
I do believe schools get a lot of freebie tickets but how many actually get used, instead of giving free tickets to the schools give the tickets to season ticket holders, im not saying take away all the free tickets to schools, but at a guess a lot more tickets would get used giving them season ticket holders, and one thing that i have heard on numerous occasions people saying they cant get a ticket if not on data base, get shut of that policy and stop making it so hard to get a match ticket,
