We’ve also been linked with Cameron Jones.
My thoughts on both are, well we really need a striker but these two are gash.
Much improved. I thought in particular Espinoza and Rogne stood out. They were excellent. Oh and Beausejour is 10x the left back Crainey is.
Anyone actually know were this game will be played? Isn’t clear on the club site “stadium name” bruge. Last time this mob were in Europe their ground wasn’t upto UEFA standards and they had to play home games in Gent (Ghent). Can’t see it’s confirmed anywhere unless I’ve missed summat. Its being played at Jan Breydel Stadion in Bruges, home stadium of Club Brugge. That’s according to Zulte Waregem’s website.
I’d say demand for the Belgium game would be pretty high. But having said that, Birmingham played there a few years against Club Brugge and took 7,000 fans.
Zulte won’t come to close to selling out a 30,000 seat stadium an hour away from their home ground of 10,000.
We could have as many tickets as we’d like.
So whilst demand will be high for Belgium, supply will be huge. Nobody who wants to go to Belgium will struggle for a ticket.
Price.
TBH I was perfectly happy with Eurostar but travelling partners looked at £60 for ferry and £150 to just get to Brussels and went for the ferry.
Booked hull to zeebrugge on ferry wednesday night coming back Friday. Less than 90 notes a piece for 5 of us. Then just booked easyjet from stanstead to ljubljana which is about 70 miles from maribor their and back for less than hundred quid each. Now. On to Kazan!Same Ferry as me. I’ll see you there!
Bruges sorted:
Overnight Ferry from Hull to Zeebrugge, arrive in Zeebrugge at 9am on Thursday.
Zeebrugge is the port of Bruges so straight to the city. One night in a hotel. Overnight ferry back to Hull from Zeebrugge at 7pm on Friday.
Oh yes.
Ferry should be a right laugh.
£240 for a 4 man cabin. £60 per person.
Who is that with ?
I priced it with P&O earlier as soon as the dates were confirmed and the price ferry only was £313 it was then another 200 quid for an inboard 4 berth cabin and then meal costs on top of that – total nearly 700.
I have just searched again after seeing your post and thinking I had made a mistake, and it came up with the same cost.
I think you better check as I think your cost is one way only in a standard cabin without meals.
Checked the e mail. Definitely for return. And went back on Direct Ferries, still showing as £240
It’s P&O but booked through direct ferries. Standard 4 man cabin for £240. We haven’t paid for meals.
Just a thought has anyone took into consideration kick off times for these matches I’m sure the russian game will be a afternoon kick off due to weather and others may have there times changed for tv coverage in there own countries just a thought likeBelgium game kicks off at 6pm British time, which I think is 7pm local.

Kazan will be tough. Good side with some good results in Europe last few years.
Zulte Waregem are a middling team who had a good season, beatable.
Maribor, very successful in Slovenia but beatable.
I think we could be anything from losing all 6 games to winning a couple, drawing a couple and finishing second.
Bruges also has a seaport at Zeebrugge that connects directly to Hull if anybody fancies the ferry.
Could be an option. 2 negatives make a positive….ferries and Hull
Still waiting for club travel arrangements
I wouldn’t expect them until tomorrow.
I hope its not just flight on Thursday morning, straight back to the airport after the game.
May have to sort this out myself.
