The media thrives on controversy. People love getting angry. Marsh’s bosses at Talksport are probably delighted with it.

I’ve seen this posted in loads of places, it gets people going to their website for the clip. People ring in to have a go. People keep listening to hear reactions. Commercial sports radio is reliant on this sort of stuff.

My advice. Ignore the idiots and they’ll quickly go away. Feed the trolls and they’ll never shut up.

All of our best perfmances this season have been away from home. Tottenham, Villa, Reading, Huddersfield, Everton, Southampton.

There is no doubt in my mind that we will run out 2 of 3 nil winners.

Wasn’t around. Started following Latics in 01.
I don’t like Rugby. I’m a football fan. The bitterness between both fanbases does seem a bit silly.
            I wish.

I’m glad to see that supporters recognise the problems – physical and mental – of playing in two competitions.

There’s likely to be a reaction after the semi final too – for both Wigan and Manchester City.

Manchester City have much greater resources to overcome the problem. They can virtually field two first teams – so they have lots of players who want to make an impression.

Looking ahead, if Wigan do achieve European football, it will put a great burden on their modest squad next season.

              NEWCASTLE !!! (this season, last)[/quote]

Are you trying to claim playing in Europe has not affected Newcaslte this season? Come on now. They were challenging for 4th last season, this season they’ll be happy to finish 4th from bottom.

More to do with the fact that all the ones that used to just come on here and browse now have to log in.

Maybe the fact that they are now members of the site and have to be logged in to see anything has now prompted them to post as well… the more the merrier..

This applies to me. I’ve been a lurker on this board for a number of years but never felt the desire to join and post. But with the recent change forcing people to log in to view posts I had to join and thought I may as well join in the discussion.

Jason Scotland was overrated. And his rating was shiote.

Can we just forget that he ever played for Wigan Athletic? Please?

Throw Aghahowa in with him as well. We never got to see that amazing celebration of his.

QPR, West Ham and West Brom. All away but we are a much better side away. If we get 7 points from those and anything at home and we will be safe. Add a Wembley final and it will be a magical end of season for all Latics fans. Going to get to West Brom away and maybe West Ham. Can’t justify the cost for QPR when it’s on TV and I’m spending a small fortune to get to Wembley (due to the circumstances of that particular weekend for me).

Sunderland for me as well. No fletcher, really hard run in.

I have to be in Dorset Friday night so I’m driving from Dorset to High Wycombe and getting the train from there.

If they’re now selling block 120 that means sales in the £60 seats are good. That’s one of the last blocks we can see in the £60 seats.

It was clear he was brought off against Newcastle cause his vicious assault was affecting his play.

Hopefully he is fit, and hopefully he starts against Norwich. He could be the catalyst to survival this season.

I never want to wish injury on other players, but I can take this one.

Sunderland have an awful run in and he is basically their only source of goals.
