I doubted these new new owners from Day one, as did one or two others if I remember.
I also advised people not to have a laugh at the expense of Bolton, as it could quite easily happen to us.
I just hope a buyer can be found ASAP!
Even the grumpy gets on here must have enjoyed it.
Should know by now that the grumpy gets hardly ever come on here after a win, especially a good win such as that one.
The thing what some of our supporters cant get their head around is had we have sacked cook around Christmas, I believe we would still be in the bottom 3, maybe even cast adrift from the rest. Maintaining Cook has provided some stability & we are now seeing some kind of reward. We are not out of it yet – true! But a win tomorrow night & I believe we can start sleeping a lot better.
I still think 2 more wins should be enough. Hopefully we can take our new found confidence into tomorrow nights game & make us sleep that little bit “easier.”
He has had almost 2 seasons now at this level. He made HUGE mistakes from October to January with his team selection, tactics, formation, his love of hoofball & so on. At most other clubs, I agree he would have gone. He probably felt that himself, as some of his post match interviews indicated a beaten man.
Things changed IMO when Moore got injured meaning he had to change his style of football, & offloading windass to Sheffield Wednesday. Performances improved & the football became better to watch. However, we still were not getting the results our performances deserved.
Then we started to pick up points, started to pick up wins & winning breeds confidence.
So yes, I think he has learned, & to an extent still is. Fair play to him I say.
Form of league champions at the moment! This is how you play championship football, stay tight at the back, be patient and take chances when they come.

It was an even game IMO. The change came when Cook brought on Evans to tighten up the midfield & keep Downing quiet – which worked TBF! We then started to press them more & we got the rewards.
I totally agree with your comment Egg lad about the games feeling like pre-season friendlies. Although saying that, the Chelsea vs Man City game was pretty decent last night.
I heard Balogun has signed permanently. Then heard it was only until the end of this season when he then becomes a free agent.
Fantastic but 10 yellows and 2 game ban for Sam the only downer.
Jamal hasn’t played well in six games all season. Hopefully the tide has turned.
I believe the real Jamal Lowe is now beginning to stand up!
