I thought Roger had a half decent game considering he was slightly out of position. None of the glaring errors were his and he scored a cracking goal.
You didn’t watch the same game then. He was shocking last night and played a part in two goals conceded. Headless chicken springs to mind!!
I dont know what game you were watching Jimmy but from what I saw he scored , was crossing the ball in comfortably on his left foot, made a couple of decent tackles and even beat a man to a header.
Judging off the above alone and providing he can continue to hit a decent cross now and then he has already gone way above Jeany B in my estimations.
Some of your comments above gave me a chuckle
Yes he did score so hats off to him for that…. but that was the only thing he did all night, other than one good cross into the box that i can recall. No quality about him what so ever. IMO!
Each to their own i suppose..
All for differing opinions but he did make some good tackles and a decent header if you watch the highlights back.
The general point I was heading towards is Jeany B IMO has this season provided nothing but a few select crosses/passes. While we cant disregard the value of his assists if Espinoza can get a couple of crosses and passes in himself but make us stronger on the wing defensively ( Milner will start in the final) then I am all for giving him a sustained chance.
How ironic is it that in the season you have not harped on about why it would be so great if we got relegated we have looked most likely to go down.
Hopefully after this post we can now upset your relegation ambitions once more and go on to survive goodpost
Hey babbie, wait for the flak from ‘Bobby’s Girls’
If the guy would show just a bit of emotion? Score or concede a goal and he stands there arms folded. What message does this send to the players? lets have a manger with some passion for the game He must be the only person in the ground who doesn’t show any emotion watching an emotive game.So if he did a Neil Warnock or Di Canio he’d get your respect?
Unless the players are watching him instead of watching what’s happening on the pitch, I’d guess that how Martinez behaves sends absolutely no message out to them.
Martinez hit a fist pump (international sign of celebration) high in to the sky after both goals yesterday so his argument is irrelevant.

but McManaman was knackered. That’s why he came off…………………………….Why was he knackered ? Is he carrying an injury ?He had an asthma attack.
Steve Kean

I don,t get what marty boy sees from that touchline when all around him see the need for change ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. Oh soz pal got a bit manic again. Well its not that i hate marty boy, but aleast have a blinking go at the other team. What i,m trying to get at is BE A GREAT LEADER Bobby and in battle you will always be respected win or lose.
I’m a bit worried about Saturday now – could be embarrassing, based on tonight’s fiasco
We actually played well, and should have scored more and conceded less.
There are a lot of questions to be asked why we gave away soft goals, but what I saw tonight didn’t fill me with fear for Saturday.
What? we actually played well – what game were you watching?
probably the one where we had almost double the amount of shots on target.
which one were you watching?
MARTINEZ STOOD THERE ON TOUCH LINE ALL FLIPPIN NIGHT AND SEEMED UNSURE ON HOW TO HANDLE THE BIG OCCASION. AT 2-1 UP HE SURLY COULD SEE ROGER THE DOGGER WELL OUT OF HIS DEPTH AT LEFT BACK AND FOR ME HE SHOULD HAVE SWAPPED HIM WITH STAM. HE JUST WILL NOT CHANGE SHAPE OF FORMATION EVEN WHEN WE ARE CHASING THE GAME AT 3-2. WHY?WHY?WHY? DOES HE NOT PUSH SCHARNER UP FRONT WHEN LOOKING FOR EQUALISER. COS HE IS A POOR TACTICAL MANAGER/COACH.well cluck me, take one of the best performing players off and replace him with the worst defender we have on his wrong foot?
I have seen some dumb posts in my time but this up there with the best of them.
you stick to waving pom poms lad and leave the football to the pros.

Then you need to remove the rose tinted specs and get yourself to Specsavers.
yes because if you are not shouting the end is nigh at the top of your voice you are obviously wearing rose tinted specs.
minus a few individual errors we were pretty good overall.
We lost !!! The overall matters not one bit !!
yes, I can hear Robertos post match team talk now…
what was that? you lost? I told you to win! next game win it. don’t lose it. as long as you stick to that nothing else matters.
shooting practice has been cancelled tomorrow. everyone is to write the following line 10,000 times.
win games. don’t lose.
Negatives- We have qualified for Europe so God knows how many games to play over the 46 league ones with a gossamer thin squad !
Positives- None !
why is that such a negative amongst people recently.
the more games the better.
I thought you didn’t subscribe to the two tired to play 2 games in a week theory ? ;)
I don’t subscribe to it but when your squad is as thin as a super sensitive rubber johnny then there must be cause for concern !
I wouldn’t know, you can’t get them in xxxl
Hey isn’t it past your bed time school tomorrow I hope you’ve done your homework?Yes sir, home work all done.
I would ask you to check it over but you are thick as pig poo.

Didn’t he do exactly the same with Cleverly and Sinclair…Until Fergie threatened to take him back and then he played him out of position on the wing when everyone knew his position was mid field.
Best of all when he got picked for England Martinez claimed the credit.. ;)Sinclair was crap on loan for us end of!
I’m not even going into cleverly as you clearly have no grasp of the position he played for us, utd or England.
as has been said stick to rounders.
