Hello all, I come in peace.

I am the creator of a Manchester United website called Stretford End Arising. URL: http://www.stretfordendarising.com/

I am currently in the process of putting together a match preview for Manchester United vs. Wigan. Normally match previews on Stretford End Arising include the thoughts of an opposition fan(s) with the aim of offering a balanced view. Here is an example preview for United’s game vs. Fulham: http://www.stretfordendarising.com/2012/08/25/match-preview-manchester-united-vs-fulham/

To the site owner and mods, can I ask several questions to forum members?

A link to this forum will be included in the published article.

    Cheers,
    Andrew

I dont think they will mind seeing as you asked so nicely ;)

I would be happy to answer some questions as I am used to upsetting Man U fans with what I consider a fair opinion on a regular basis.

Why not he’s probably off work and what he posts would be a bigger contribution to a topic than you have ever done

    Are you griffo in disguise ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

This really is starting to get f’cking tedious now.
Completely agree.

If this is the best they can muster up via an internet persona how boring must they be in real life?

this board could do with a vat69 type character to have a nervous breakdown for the benefit of the everyones entertainment.

Sadly when the board is inundated with this mindless griff stalking carry on its hardly a breeding ground for a good debate…

Do everyone a favour lads and knock it on the head.
You have changed your tune ! You were a wind up merchant a few months ago, now you are moderator potential !
I am deffo not moderator material mate!

I am far to opinionated and stubborn for that as I believe it requires the ability to occasionally “sit on the fence”.

I could say the same about you though denouncing your dark side ways.

I’ll bet you have got a poster of Roberto on your wall and everything ;)

The lack of comments despite 90 reads tells me that this sh*t must be accepted ! Come on ! It is pure 100% cringe-worthy !

    Cringeworthy??

“Could I be the next Whelan? I’d say I could have been. And you can tell by the way I say nay, I’m from Wigan”
“You, you pay your mortgage. Me I pay Wigan & Leigh Housing”
“Proud to hold the world pie eating championships. We eat Sayers. Peace to Pooles”

Its lyrical genius that is goodpost goodpost goodpost
It’s shite !
Oh come on, with stuff like:
“And although I bleed cherry & my skins white, I don’t follow super league, I’m Athletic all night”
the boy’s a wordsmith on a par with Dylan Thomas

Maybe we can adopt these particular lines as a new terrace anthem or somet!!!!
Was Dylan Thomas not a raging p*ss head?

I think that is where the similarities end.

Speaking on behalf of the people of Salford I would like to say nobody could honestly care less.

You think Rugby is a minority sport in Wigan they cant even give the tickets away here!

I get reels of VIP tickets offered for the new ground through work all the time that are rarely taken up.

in reply to: Baines V Cole… Time for a change? #92776

I think the biggest argument for him V Cole has to be that the England team is not exactly oozing with creativity.

A few extra crosses into the box could be the difference for us.

But he is just a multi-posting wind up merchant after a catch…

But he’s absolutely useless at it.
True! but if you keep giving the lad a hard time he is going to cancel his Griff fan club membership.

Then you will be left with just wigmong and the other one.

in reply to: Old Trafford #92733

    Spot on Appley…

But he is just a multi-posting wind up merchant after a catch…

    Wtf are you talking about?

I did as you asked and read yours back and as I hadn’t read it properly the first time my riposte didn’t make sense. However on closer inspection the grammar on yours ( As highlighted by myself ) also didn’t make sense and so therefore I called it quits ! Capisch ! B)
Riposte… I get the feeling sometimes you’re not as numb as you let on Filly…

in reply to: Old Trafford #92655

We all keep moaning about the cost of match day tickets, and every so often some prat of an MP jumps on the bandwagon, saying prices are scandalous, but we still stump up the cash, about time there was a concerted organized effort to get them down

Ticket prices will be high as long as players’ salaries are high. If everyone boycotted matches, the clubs would lose money and couldn’t afford to keep their best players.

So, the moral of the story is, if you want to watch Premier League players, you have to pay Premier League prices to do so.
Spot on!

We should think ourselves very lucky by how affordable we are as a PL club especially after the roller coaster ride experience of last season.

And maybe you should ask about an anger management course while you’re there!
A train full of people stand watching as the drebs of our society round up on three small men fearing for their safety …

I’m the only one who does anything and you think its me that needs help?
