Dont think it was intended to offend…

He is just clearing up incorrect speculation for the benefit of the stoke fans.

Would be nice if one of our players did that for a change.

Roy Hodgson compared our attempt to sign him to that of Fulham trying to sign Messi….

Bit of a difference if you ask me but hey what do I know.

Too much of an out and out winger for us.

JohnDoe that must be the first post I have seen on here that goes on such an idiotic rant without me feeling the need to throw in my pennys worth.

But it did make you feel like throwing your two pennys worth didn’t it?

Oh, and I stopped watching them at Christmas, were they any good after that?

Easily wound up some on here, must be because deep down they know I’m right :P
If thats my pennys worth then my piggy bank must be ready to burst!

Sorry John but the Cockneylatic windup club is more than over subscribed….

Why not try the reasoned friendly debate club or better yet get a life ya sadden :P

I couldnt even be arsed reading most of it but my eyes are instantly drawn to such comments as “no entertainment” and “going backwards heading for the trap door”.

If you cant see the progress or entertainment factor in the back end of last season then feck off and support someone else

You’ll be shocked to hear that I disagree ;)

All businesses (football clubs, pubs or newsagents) all pay taxes so I don’t see why they should have to pay for any police who are not required on their property
In relation to football & Latics, it’s like the club being blamed & punished by the FA if a group of blokes decide to have a fight in the town centre with somebody else who supports another club when they have no control whatsoever over them or the incident

That all sounds lovely Mr Tyldesley but one vital point you are missing out on is Ken Bates and Leeds United dont pay their flippin taxes do they!!!!

If they hadnt swindled HMRC out of millions you might have had a point there but im afraid Mr Bates having to write some more money off his tax bill because he is paying more out on policing wont be pulling on my heart strings any time soon.

If you are turning a profit you should have a financial and moral obligation to ensure the safety of the “consumer”.

I think you are right in the fact pubs and clubs should be no different and should contribute to policing operations directly effected by or a result of their business.

How you justify the cost, scale or necessity of said policing operations is a whole other problem in itself.

So now the tax paying public will foot the bill.

    Brilliant.

Two days and thats the best you can come up with?

    Are you taking the Micky?

Martinez I am sure has bigger fish to fry than the positional markings on a website.

And I have better things to do than educate a crayon eating mong like you who could not even see what formation his own team was playing for over 2 years

I didn’t realise it was a time trial pal! Hey! but I guess it’s because of the speed that you can read at.

    “Crayon eating mong”?…………..give me strength.

    – and you wonder why no one ever takes you seriously – grow up.
Haha diddums

Well sorry to p*ss on both of your bonfires but you can take it up with Roberto the guy who makes the formations who has said clear as day we have never played with a lone striker!!!!

    It was a 4-3-3

Going back N’Zogbia wasnt playing as a right winger and Rodallega certainly wasnt playing as a left winger.

I’d draw you a picture but if you cant be bothered to relaise your own teams tactics why should I bother to teach you?

If indeed it was Roberto that said that then he really needs to have a word with the personnel who decide what position the players have allocated against their name on the official site.

    Quite clear here…….

    You and your semantics…….

Oh! and what you can teach me about team formations and tactics could fit (twice) on the back on a postage stamp.

Now then should you require assistance with your drawing I see these are on offer in the arcade:

Hi Tyldsley thought you would be lurking around this debate somewhere B)

In reply to point 1 you must then think either Roberto is lying to trick people for whatever reason or he is that numb that he does not know his own tactics. What Roberto is doing with the front three is not a new thing Barcelone have been doing it for years but you dont hear people saying Villa & Messi etc. are wingers do ya…

In reply to point 3 Im not saying any of them are strikers I have and always will maintain they are 3 forwards ;)

Like Roberto has said n the past there is too much focus on what a 4-4-2 4-4-3 or whatever should look like/ should be. the tactics and positions of players is far more in depth than assigning them to a section of a 100 year old tactic and expecting them to do the same things as the thousands of players before them.

You have said yourself (might not have been you) Di Santo can receive the ball and drop back with Maloney and Moses advancing ahead of him and looking more like classic strikers?

I do realise where your point comes from though Tyldsley as when we have been poor or under pressure the outside forwards drift back into midfield.

I just think you are very strict with your idea of what a forward should be and do.
