From what I saw of him he can at least pass it from the centre to the side of the pitch without knocking it directly into touch, which is progress from last season ;)
Caldwell kicked some great 40-20s last season.
I must have missed those games. If it’s Billy Bremner, he’ll fail miserablyMust have lost his decomposure.
“The technology is there. A system has been developed to alert the officials in no more time than it takes for the linesman to raise his flag for a decision for example. FIFA simply don’t want to bring technology into the game.”
FIFA won’t sanction the technology because it would put a stop to – how should I say – creative officiating. Cheating in other words.
There’s a conspiracy theory for you….!
“Marlon Kings Sent To Coventry”
Has he been cloned whilst inside so we’ve got a nasty one and another that’s converted to Islam?
Let’s hope he’s not gone teaching English Language somewhere!
It’s got rag all to do with money. Rooney and the rest would play for England for nowt. Fans have a right to boo if they want to and for the best part it’s out of pure frustration. The players should also have a right to respond. Do you really think they went out there and made a conscious decision to play badly? I’m glad Rooney said what he said. It shows he cares, not that you should need convincing about that anyway. Blame the manager, blame the ball, and especially blame the press who brainwash people into believing England can win the World Cup, when in reality we are just a very ordinary team with very ordinary players. Get used to it. Get behind the team for the next match and hope Capello and the players get it right this time. If we win, everything is fine for a while. We get to watch another game and fly our little flag and go the pub and get bladdered and talk bollux to the next bloke and boo again when we lose.
That’s football.Sammy don’t talk shoite!!!!!! We have played the US and Algeria there are no excuses we should beat these teams no matter how you dress it up.
Something needs to change in our Country as the national team is turning into a joke although I’m finding it hard to laugh it’s more embarrassing
It could be a lot worse. We could be French. It’s got rag all to do with money. Rooney and the rest would play for England for nowt. That’s football.I’ll stand corrected – Mr Garswood might help me out here – but I don’t ever remember Liddell missing a penalty for Latics.
But if asked who I would want to take and score from a penalty to save my life, it would be Andy Liddell.
Or just go to channel 178…….!
Got me wondering if there is, or has been, another player with five consecutive vowels in their name?
Consonant Carol……..
I think James should also be ashamed about his particularly unsavoury post last night, which was unsurprisingly removed by admin.
Griff, to whom the post was directed, would have had a field-day.and went back to Cataract TV.So did ITV HD. Not content with the fiasco of missing the goal they transmitted the rest of the match in standard definition.
Can’t imagine the advertisers who have no doubt spent millions promoting new HD TV’s and the means to receive it, being all that happy either.
It’s not that I didn’t KNOW… It’s that I didn’t SPOT it when looking back… Get it?..I think you are digging yourself a bigger hole here James.
Stop trying to be smart correcting other people’s grammar when, by your own admission, you don’t fully understand it yourself.
From a previous thread, “I knew about it being used for possesion but was quite adamant that there was no need for one to be there.. Not actually sure why.”
I’ll give you one thing James, you’re very thick skinned.
Why? I knew as soon as Garswood pointed it to me that I had done it wrong.. I just didn’t spot it when looking for a mistake.
Anyway why don’t you keep to your own conversations..peace has been made. Weps.
I also know things when they’ve been pointed out to me.From a previous thread, “I knew about it being used for possesion but was quite adamant that there was no need for one to be there.. Not actually sure why.”
