It was a popular misconception because when Liverpool were looking for a new manager, Roberto happened to be in Miami and some opportunist photographer took a photo of him at the exact moment he walked past John Henry in the street.
Easily done.

I grew up supporting Liverpool, and had a Kop season ticket.

If the FL and ref, said you can go straight to penalties on monday, would you snatch their hands off,or play the match through.
After watching us fridsy i would go to pens, looks like we wouldn’t have scored if we played till midnight. No goal scoring threat at all, been like that all season.
My pen takers,
1 Gomez
2 Maloney
3 Mcarthur
4 Maynard/Waghorn
5 Whoever of the two hasn’t taken 4No, I wouldn’t. I think we are well in with a chance to win.
As for winning on pens – did you go to Wembley?
“When in Wigan every car had Everton or Liverpool stickers in it”……
For which read “Hey guys. I’m a true supporter. I went last night”……..
I heard he had a pop at Fortune today in training.
What – like so many of the posters here?
Yes. It was actually on this board. Strange username he’s picked though :)
Club website:
“Tickets for this fixture are now only available to purchase by calling 0871 66 33 552 or by visiting the DW Stadium Ticket Office in person before 10am on Monday 12th May 2014.”No mention of being anywhere near sold out.
People in South will turn up on the night. No reserved seat = no need to buy ticket in advance, for many. It’ll be reet.

Personally I like the idea of B teams if they are managed correctly. Quite how that would be I’m not sure.
The non-EU players below the Premier League rule doesn’t make too much sense if the Premier League are allowed x amount. Surely the Premier League clubs should be the ones that are restricted so more English players play at the top level?
Terrible idea that will hit non-league clubs. An idea floated by the FA who only care for the Greed League and the national team, and have no idea that football at grassroots level happens across the country.
If they want a B team league then by all means have one – but NOT in the pyramid.
Got told that it is for the stewards when it turns red theu are on alert to a serious crowd trouble problemI don’t know the answer for sure, as I don’t think it was there when I was stewarding. However I don’t go along with the notification for stewards line as most stewards wouldn’t see it, and it’s in a very inaccessible place. There are other coded messages that alert stewards to situations, and senior stewards are in radio contact with the control room, so a light up on the gantry is unlikely to be the solution to situation management.
More mundanely, that used to be (and maybe still is) where the club’s video camera was placed when we didn’t have blanket TV coverage, and I suspect it may just be the club’s own video equipment, or part of the press facilities. It is the broadcast media gantry.
Well done all concerned.
Have a read of that again Runcorn and think about what you’ve written – the people behind you hear rubbish, and the people in front of you hear rubbish. Hmmm. ;)I’ve just had a re-read of my post. Imagine this if you will. As i’ve said but in different terms I am surrounded by supporters who in fairness are not the most intelligent nor appreciative of our players/team. Sometimes i wonder why they actually bother turning up. The abuse that gomez gets off these people is absolute shocking, yet other players make mistakes during the game – nothing!!!!
You’ll find mr garswood i’m the good guy in this.It was a joke. Hence the smiley at the end. I know exactly what you meant.
Why will it upset the boo boys which i have heard none in this division because he as been great shame u have to bring his achievement down
If you sit behind & in front of me you will hear & see the biggest numpties in the existence of football supporters, especially where senor gomez is concerned.
Jordi Gomez at Goodison in the Cup. Smooth build up play, beautiful ball across, and Jordi met it perfectly and hit it so sweetly – “passed it into the goal”.

Powell Maynard McLeanAny other predictions, most right wins err … Nothing !!
