Yes, it’s from black and white.
“Britain is a democracy and a democratic vote was taken.
You do know the vote was advisory and had no legal binding to it? No-one needed to do anything.
It’s just that May decided to leap ahead to curry popular flavour.
What should have happened is that everyone should have sat down and thought what does that mean? Why are people thinking that way?
Do we need to change our relationship within the EU, as people aren’t (marginally) happy with it, or should we leave? If the latter, how should we do that? What deal would we want? All of this consideration to be done before leaping headlong over the cliff with no safety net.
The Tory party want a rerun of the leadership election held a year ago because opinions have changed.
Without one iota of irony.Colin Methven – born in India
Paul Scharner
Amr Zaki (flawed but a great player)
Rodallega
Jordi Gomez
And of course Pasquale Bruno ;)To be honest most of the players in these “English” teams won’t know the national anthem.
They aren’s exactly English, are they?
But somehow the fans of the clubs bang on how English football is so great. It was when Springfield Borough were playing there, don’t remember it either, don’t think it’s Springfield Park to be honest. Not at all. Long before Springfield played there.
It is Springfield Park.Jaysus, didn’t realise it’s such an ‘old’ board. No wonder people can be cranky on here at times. Brownbill and Cup winners must be in their 90s!!!
Are you not letting on what your age is Travis?
”Forty is the old age of youth and fifty is the youth of old age” so I’m a youthful 53 ;)
Well that’s really lowered the average ;)
How could he possibly have thought it was OK to post?
You would be surprised in these days to even hear a knucklehead in Wetherspoons coming out with something like that, but as a “celebrity” to tweet that shows more than an error of judgement.Oh dear :(

If you buy cr*p, you get cr*p news. There is no concern about whether the news is accurate or not.
Today’s MailOnline headlines the outfits worn at some showbiz event yesterday, and a host of columns about the royal sprog ranging from sycophancy, highlighting family divisions on all sides, and pondering whether the first mixed-race Royal will have an effect on society (really!).
They are all the same.
Last November I was approached by my media agent (haha, yes, I sort of have one) asking if a newspaper could use a colourised picture of mine (attached).
I asked which paper it was and they said it was the S*n.
I said no. Quite pleased with myself. Except for looking at MOnline to laugh at it I would certainly never buy one of these.
These rags are all the same. No journalistic standards at all. Gutter press.
Very well done, horc, for keeping this running.
I know it must have taken up some time to do, so thank you from all of us.
Looking forward to next season.Just disappointed that we didn’t have “Weir, Merry and Jolley” on as subs ;)
(Yes, I know Weir is on England duty but imagine he wasn’t for the full comedic effect)I’ve just watched the little film they’ve made to promote them. Flipping heck I’m a grown man. There must be something in my eye.
Me too. I was filling up.
Me three! Although there is a fair amount of dust flying around.
The problem round here is onions.
Someone’s peeling loads of onions.
And hay fever.
Yes, hay fever too. This confusion would never be allowed to continue in the NHS. An emergency meeting would be called, cancelled, rearranged, postponed and then re-rearranged, no matter what the expense to sort the terminology out.
The offence would be rebranded as an “STI” a Seriously Trivial Incident , but this would be reviewed every 12 months to ensure maximum confusion. It would also need to be passed by a panel who preside over abbreviations.
Training on the new terminology would be set up and this would be mandatory and linked to all staffs pay. Most importantly, the training wouldn’t be available until next year when every conceivable piece or paperwork has been changed,
To show Patrick Bamford just how serious this is he would be sent an EMAIL! He would then receive 6000 more emails just to make sure he got the first email.Just to clear that up!
Bet you all think I’m joking
You forgot to mention that before the meeting everyone involved will hold pre-meeting briefing meetings to decide what they consider the issues are, and then after the meeting everyone will hold review meetings to discuss how it went.
There would be a list of decision points and action points produced, with monitoring of the action points delegated to someone who wasn’t at the meeting so has no idea what the actual issues are.
I know you’re not joking. I worked in public sector too ;)
Pantomime season has started early, situation regarding Noblot is now farcical. Take over now off and they have not fulfilled their fixtures yet . Would we have gotten the same leeway as they have had it been us. Whilst I don’t want to see them go to the wall they have to be severely punished for this. They will be
