What percentage of the ticket allocation do clubs get for the final ? I thought it was about 30% which is pathetic if true !
Which one’s Arky?

The Sun has the following:
Haidara added: “In that moment I was really, really angry with him.
“I thought he had stopped my career.
“Now I feel differently and just hope this will give him a lesson and that next time he will know how to stop himself.
Balanced viewpoint from the person really involved.
Just looked on Millwall’s site and they say
“There will be a £10 reduction on the cost of your match ticket for over 60s and U16s.”I am trying to find out if that applies to Latics (and if not, why not)
It does apply. It said that right from the off.[/quote]
So it does. Blind as a bat. Must be my age :)
Still unfair though that if I was a Millwall fan I’d be paying £10 less.

I’ve been told this is the case, but that concessions for Latics will be “over 65”. It depends on individual club’s definition for concessions.
Seems unfair to me

The CEO, secretary, media guys, head of commercial and many other staff at WAFC are registered and have been for a very long time griff. You do realise who sudworth is, don’t you, griff? ;)
Try Mailonline for a laugh too
Not necessarily.
As we’re playing Millwall every wannabe hoolie may want to pitch up, I think. Let’s keep this to our own idiots.
Just looked at the official site (www.nufc.co.uk) which mustn’t be confused with a fan’s site http://www.nufc.com which has a lot of libellous content.
To be fair to them the official comments are far more restrained than the witch hunt that’s going on around. They’re obvioulsy not happy with us – but then who ever is?
With less than half-an-hour played, left-back Massadio Haidara was stretchered off with suspected knee ligament damage following a high, late challenge from Latics winger Callum McManaman, for which referee Mark Halsey didn’t even award a free-kick.
Quotes from James Perch
“The handball for the goal is blatant. Everyone could see it at the time and everyone will see it on the replays.
“And the tackle was a bad one. I know referees get the odd thing wrong and I can accept that but 100 per cent he (McManaman) should have been sent off.
“Football isn’t a nice game sometimes.”I’m not excusing them, but it’s a bit more restrained than the hysteria around.
I agree that I’d like to see if Haidara suddenly bounces back. Bad injuries are usually assessed as such quickly.
ABL highlighted this but I’ll bring out the relevant paragraphs. These remember are from the club’s OFFICIAL site, not some fan’s rant:
“This just in: new lies
Wigan owner Dave Whelan and manager Roberto Martinez have been quick to leap to the defence of Massadio Haidara’s assailant Callum McManaman, claiming he is not that kind of player……
….Here’s a reminder of what bumbling fool and SkySports News favourite blatherer, Whelan dribbled out earlier…..
…Make your mind up you silly old bugger…..
…Young thug, Callum McManaman did his best to end the career of Massadio Haidara,….”
If anyone posted that on here, a fan site, I’d be deleting the comments as potentially libellous.
I really hope the club take note and consider legal action.
I thought it looked cutting edge trendy ;)
