Had to laugh at this post:
“lock the thread for a while. The less said about this shite the better”If we did that every time Latics didn’t play well there’d be no posting at all.
The thing about that site is it doesn’t allow negative comments – I think they have no choice today :P
Or this:
“Perhaps the RAWK mods should look into the possibility of waiting with opening a post-match thread for an hour after the game is finished in case the result is disappointing. Clearly some people are hardly able to handle their emotions. ”  :lol:He made the right choice.
Who wants to be fighting relegation all season?
goodpost goodpost goodpost
My original post was meant to be a bit of humour – why do these things always degenerate into slanging matches?
Already have minimal processes running, Yozzer – I cleared out startup ages ago.
I have history deleted every time I log out of IE (days to keep history = 0).
Have used CCleaner in the past, and have even tried Malwarebytes to check there’s no malware.
As I said using Chrome as browser seems to improve things.
Have started using Google Chrome, and much as I hate to say it (I loathe companies who shove their products down your throat) I’ve had no problems whatsoever since
6-1 :P
One major thing impressed me about Miyaichi – and yes I know it is just one thing to begin with:
He broke from the halfway line, drew a defender and then squared it to Callum, aware that he was there.
A player of recent vintage (I will keep him anonymous, but his initials are VM) would have gone straight at the defender, ignored Callum, and tried to beat him himself. 8 times out 10 he would have failed, but twice he would have succeeded and been hailed as brilliant.
I prefer Ryo’s approach.
[Cue new song starting “His name is Ryo….”}
Now now, David – you’ll get told off for “being witty”
It would have been better if you’d also watched Wigan v Mallorca in Chelsea
Thanks for that, RS.
Outside the ground before the game quite a few of your supporters we’re wishing us well. Which I thought a bit strange :)
Yes – there were imbeciles near the boundaries – but then again that’s why they get seats there, isn’t it?
And I agree – Pompey fans are a lot lot worse. Particularly the guy with the bell :S
They should be kicked out of the league and West Ham Reserves parachuted in.
His finish yesterday was exactly what we want from situations like that.
He seems to be a goalscorer. And Di Santo, although I did yell (well, as I was on my own, mutter) at him a few times that he seemed slower off the mark to challenge than we’ve been used to the last dozen games, but his finish was good too.
Maybe we’ve found what we’ve been lacking?
Commented on the same thing. Failing to sell out their first prem game in almost 10 years, you have to ask if Southampton deserves a Premiership team.
Of course they don’t. Small town, low crowds, no big name players.
How can a team like that even dream of being a Premier League club?
